Re: Escapist Sunday Comics.
Yeah, I didn't think that was such a big deal, but now I think about it this kind of art is all about observation. He's observed all these stereotypes. He's charicatured Graham and Paul. He can't get a logo right? One that he sees prominantly displayed at least once every week?
Also, guys, those CAD remixes are awesome, I've not seen them before. XD

Just made one based on one I saw a long time ago but can't find.

see
There's also this http://dummcomics.com/index?sid=690 It actually fills up the whole week. Though I only really like Mech lab and Frog Raccoon Strawberry.
Then Oglaf http://oglaf.com/fountain-of-doubt/ But it's not safe for work most of the time so be careful of that
Then finally http://boxerhockey.fireball20xl.com/

I really enjoy Oglaf, so a big thanks to whomever originally posted Skulls a couple months back.

Haha yeah, Oglaf is great.
I also just added Boxer Hockey to my list of things to catch up on so I'll delve the archives sooner or later... Thanks for the link!

Re: Escapist Sunday Comics.
Saw this when Matt and Graham tweeted about it... it's cool that G&P (... makes them sound like a grocery chain...) got included, I'm really kind of surprised at the lack of effort the artist seemed to display... I mean, how hard is dot dot dot DOT TRIANGLE to get right? I can never approve of people messing up the LRR logo.
And as people have pointed out, it's pretty much a non-joke.
Still! It was neat that the comic writer put them in it.
Also, what is with the posting of all of this L H Franzibald crap?!

There is a very palpable point in Boxer Hockey when the artist just goes completely insane. You will find it quickly.

On the original topic, what do you guys think of Critical Miss? I've quite enjoyed it so far; despite the fact that the hook is seemingly 'OMG this game critic is a gurl!', it's actually had pretty good writing.

You're welcome. Though it seems like I have to wait until Monday afternoon before I can see the new comic O puts up on Sundays; his popularity has outstripped his bandwidth.
And on the way back to the topic...
Yeah, Des really has become a one-trick pony
(and that's an evilly good one, Arius. )
But:

Um...
Art is all about observation?
But anywaysers, I do agree on the quality of the logo; it's not like there'd be copyright problems - the Escapist owns LRR now!

Re: Escapist Sunday Comics.
Allright, fair call on that one. I must admit I just assumed it'd be a guy writing it because there's so many more male webcomic writers than female (and also, bar this one, all the female written webcomics I've ever read have been awesome). Still, what you highlighted there's pretty small and I don't actually care that much.

Well, at least you're honest about it. Hold still, my "punch people through the internet" software has bugs in the target lock module.

If you don't like Doraleous then our friendship is rapidly going to deteriorate into midnight battles to the death across the roof tops of Cincinnati.

Well, depending on your perspective, if it were assumed to be on some kind of non-Euclidian plane, that could be a triangle.empath wrote:And Alex"? "Triangle"?! For shame, doc.
