I really, really, reeeeeeally want to see it this weekend. Unfortunately, my girlfriend is busy & we have plans to see it together so I'll have to wait. Yeah, I know I could sneak out but if it's excellent already it will be even better together. ;)

Once you've gone, you should go again. I'm booking IMAX tickets for next week.

Never heard of this movie but I just read about the plot and it seems kinda cool I guess but the dream world where if you get hurt blahblah thing kinda instantly made me think of the matrix, so is it the matrix?

Amen, my freind. In fact, the only thing I don't like about Inception is that I am not still watching it right now.

To Banana, let me tell you, no this is not the matrix, this is something new.

The most similar film I can think of is Paprika, which is also great.

I'll have to watch this movie, then. I quite enjoyed Paprika. Especially the hilarious fat man.

I hope Inception has a hilarious fat man.

I went to see it yesterday and it was brilliant! Easily Nolan's best movie yet, and thats saying a lot considering how good The Prestige and Batman are. Its certainly the only movie with an original concept that I've seen this summer and its just so refreshing.

I hope this movie does well at the box office though. I went to a matinée yesterday and there were only a handful of people in the theater.
Is it safe?

AGREED! Except that the Matinee I went to, 11:45, first show of the day today, was impressively full, with close to 100 people. in Syracuse, NY.

While most of the major plot developments weren't a surprise (the type of thing to occur, not the specifics), I really enjoyed how they got there and all the details and specifics. Also, the physics and the way the levels worked with one another was great! And even though you knew it was coming, I loved the roar the ending got. :D

I would like to see this done as a series, but without the big decision he had to make. Something more like Leverage, perhaps :P

For the sake bringing this conversation to somewhere everyone wanted it to go but didn't know how I bring up:

*That cool/creepy distinctive noise in Inception that kind of sounds like a foghorn, the one that goes WHOOOOMP or something very dramatic*

Yeah, I really like that noise.
No matter what I say there is a 40% percent chance I'm not being serious, and if I sound like I'm not then I probably am.

Did anybody else have very vivid dreams after watching this?

Oh, and favourite lines; anything Eames says to Arthur (I like to think that he's insulting Joseph Gordon-Levitt for being in G.I. Joe).

Have you seen it, Gunner? Go and see it. It's a great film, and should be seen in theaters. Then judge it.
