I dont follow, as whilst I did tell one of my female friends for actual advice I'd be more likely to ask my other gay friends as they would ultimately, probably be able to relate more too me, even if all we did was sit around and make silly euphemisms out of genuine insults.

Additionally Danzama you seem to have me confused with a tiger, whom always attacks from behind, which resulted in a scheme by natives to its habitats to wear masks on the back of their heads in order to confuse them. This may in fact work, but I would not be confused for long rest assured. I'm quite the cunning creature and you never know from which direction I might strike, if I choose to strike at all. I'm not in the business of raping people you see.

it seems to me you're pretty much attacking from front or back, unless you're planning to give your victim an earful of dong.

Well I mean I dont know the logistics, of starting a business of rape. But I mean its still around so I suppose that step 5 is profit.

Additionally matt, just because I start an attack from say, the sky or, underground. Doesnt mean it ends there. Clearly I'd have formed some sort of cunning battleplan to overwhelm the defences no matter how entrenched they might be and... hrm, I dunno how I feel suggesting that sex is kind of like war. But then again they say love is a battlefield.

so let me get this straight (wrong word?), I'm going to get raped in the ear the next time 'Cuppa and I are in the same room. This'll most likely be at a con, so I'll need ear plugs.

BLARG.

Something has to go. And I want to keep everything. Not only that but giving up any one thing will leave me feeling horribly guilty.

Damn your eyes, me. Damn your eyes and damn the rest of you because you can't just be selfish sometimes. This is your degree, so stop whining about wanting to please everyone. Frickin' DO IT. You know it's the only way. You've been in a survival situation before.

God DAMMIT.
Often outnumbered, never outpunned.

Note: in Ireland 'ye' is used as the plural of 'you'. It rather neatly avoids confusion online.

I didnt say that, like I said, I'm not into the whole rape business. Too much risk in that venture for me. What ever happened to the days where a guy took another guy out and treated him like a lady. I miss those days.

Dear body:

Please stop hurting. Yes I misused my body yesterday while practicing proper biomechanics, but did I seriously mess you up *that* badly??

Oh and stop making it hard for me to breathe. It makes it hard for me to sleep, and it makes it even harder for *you* to heal. Just relax.

Sincerely,
me, aka the muscularily-overstressed massage student

Word. I hated that (UVic equivalent) course. So bad we had to get the ombudsman to adjust our grades so the class average wasn't 40% on midterms and finals(!).

Here the software engineers have to take Electromagnetism.

They call it "electrodeath."

Why are the only people I can trust actually edged weapons that I give names to? And why can't Ghost and Throat get along? Why are they so jealous of Omega just because she's a Cold Steel?

Agreed.

I merely chuckle when someone calls me over to the variety case to ask where the salsa is...when leaning over the salsa to speak with me.

And as for our tossed salad case? It's usually packed pretty full, so the bin with the dressing packets tends to blend in with the salad containers, in addition to getting moved around to allow the different types of salads be arranged neatly. As such, I have no malice towards people who claim "there's no Caesar dressing" and I check and - after finding the bin - confirm there's plenty and the customer says "Oh! I didn't see them there!" Indeed, I usually reply "Don't worry; they weren't in that exact spot yesterday, and they'll probably get moved again tomorrow."

Getting back to our regularly scheduled vents:

- Okay, obese, 20-something, lazy man-child: three notes does NOT mean you can whistle. Please stop trying to apply your limited range to every fucking tune on the Muzak. You're giving your coworkers more headaches than the construction workers.

- We gotta stop stacking up so many containers on the service case; when someone rings the bell, half the time I can't SEE them! :(

- Hey, creepy 20-something coworker who "is quiet and keeps to himself": that's not a Scottish accent you're throwing out there, it's English - sub-Kensington. Trust me...BIG difference. Image

- Why is it the only employees in our deli that aren't fuck-ups, psychos or otherwise useless are students that don't have a lot of spare time for this part-time job?

For students, it's probably the fact that they have a pressing financial need (university), and more importantly, they realize how badly they need the money, and thus will try slightly harder to not get fired.

My main problem is that in my (limited so far I guess) experience almost nobody asks politely, or even sort of nicely, I think they think that We hide things to piss then off or something:lol:
If you cant find something we don't have or the parsley amongst all the other herbs and such then fair enough... but a little manners can't hurt.
Today some old bogan was hassling me about the carving pumpkins we got in, apparently Its bad that we have them, they're too expensive and it's an american thing etc... annoying, but I did enjoy a chuckle about it when telling my supervisor.

Which prof and which class was this?

While my first electromagnetism class was not that bad, my third and fourth year EM classes where some of the harder classes I took.

I wish I could focus when writing and not get distracted by the slightest thing.

Physics 216(a?) as I recall. Some really, really old guy as prof, using decades-old overheads. I remember distinctly the midterm wherein not one person (in class of 100+) finished it, and the highest mark was 75%.

I tried to do this task, I got pretty dang far. You have marked me on it, so even if I fix this code, you won't give me any more marks.

I need to solve my problem in this code before I can start the next task's code, because of the code methods involved.

You sat with me and I explained what it is trying to do, for fifteen minutes no less, listening intently all the while.

Why then will you NOT even suggest what could be wrong with it?

You are a huge pretentious smug ass of a tutor and I would not object to lying to a court to get you fired.

From a cannon.
