Re: Doctor Who
Yep. At least they filmed the current series' finale so the series can feel 'complete' rather than an abrupt ending.
She's a very good actress and it's a such a shame she's gone. Unfortunately some dialogue is a bit 'cheesey; but what do you expect from a TV show aimed at 10 year olds? Atleast it's not that tripe that's on Nickalodia or the Disney Channel.
In the show she now has an adopted little 11/12 year old girl called Sky whoes emotions can affect surrounding electrical thingy bobs. Like if she giggles she makes light bulbs near her giggle. So I expect in the finale episode they'll use the fact she's still powerful. Her character being able to randomly affect electrical appliances seems to be a shallow character trait.

You have immense progressive difficulty of extracting the DvDs from the packaging as a bonus.
(according to Amazon reviews)
It seems you get some pwetty pictures and some graffiti (text). Probably special features or it's just a pwetty box.

Re: Doctor Who
See I'll only let my FIF talk me into buying re-releases if it can demonstrate to me that there are extra features not available anywhere else. A pwetty box on its own won't do it.

Re: Doctor Who
Yes, but the box makes it *a challenged* to extract the DvDs.

Re: Doctor Who
Very odd final episode for Sarah Jane Adventures. I suppose... with what happened they did the best they could with wrapping it up with the final lines of "this sort of shit will continue for ever..."
I assume Clyde and Rani get it on.

Re: Doctor Who
I just had a thought. With the outcome of "Let's Kill Hitler", does the Doctor have another ten regenerations on top of his remaining two to play with?

That's been my assumption. I think that everyone wants the show to continue, so having a handwavy solution that basically says "Yay, we don't have to cancel because of a throw-away line from the seventies!" makes a lot of sense to me.

I liked Donna... dunno about Catherine Tate. Also, why "thou"... sorry to point it out, but it's been bugging me. Is it a regional thing, or are you leaving of the "gh" just because?
Re: Doctor Who
Not a fan of Catherine Tate's other work, but Donna was a wonderful piece of work.

Maybe it's thru force of habit?
