What... what will I DO when I wake up tomorrow? I'm so confused...

That was a lot of fun, once again. I missed a chunk of last year being in placement for school at the time, being unemployed had the perk of being able to watch almost all of Desert Bus, while not actually being able to win any auctions. >.>

I already had my thankks to everyone read on air but I just gotta say thank you again to the LRR crew for letting me mod the chat as well as all the stellar work they've done for Child's Play. And another thanks to you, the viewers/chatters/bidders/donaters. Without you, they never would have made it this far. We've come a long way from the days where even $10k was a pipedream. This is ALL made possible by you.

I heard you liked bussing so TeamAshton automated a TeamKroze pig kiss so you could WHARGARBLE while you played Minecraft, watched Top Gear, and got Flag during a D&D game in the middle of a Warhamster Caramelldansen sweet rave party featuring C'thulu. /DB4 meme'd

What did I do while watching? I redrew some of the about page pictures. In miniature size.

The goal was extremely low-res images of the crew that could handle being blown up to larger size. First part went ok, the second part was so-so - but they're still fairly accurate for a possible craftalong project.

The images are on an EXTREMELY TEMPORARY webhost, so save 'em if you want to keep 'em.

Wow. Just Wow guys. You are simply amazing. $200,000. I don't even know what to say. Here's hoping next years is even larger.

I loved it, so many laughs, some tears and ending with a huge sum of money going to the kids.

Thanks for being awesome and answering some of my questions. It makes me happy that I seemed to help piss mat of with the whole Mattim/Timatt business by asking "Why are you dressed like Tim?", and one of may favourites that Graham answered "Which game is less interactive: Desert Bus or Eternal Sonata?". It's just a shame Kate didn't name her cat "Corporal Honey Muffin" as per my suggestion :P

I wish all you lovely LRR crew a peaceful and well earned night's sleep. I am very appoint.

Now I am off to play minecraft, watch some top gear and enjoy some bacon...

IS IT SAFE?

It's very safe.

Good job guys. I don't post here enough but I'm always watching and enjoying.

After two years of feverishly watching while in school I had to sneak a little desert bus in between work hours this year.

How come there wasn't a new twilight movie out this year :(

Congrats, all you lovely people. What a wonderful thing you did. I am so proud to have been even a little tiny part of it. Wish I could give everyone a big hug.

Desert Bus has a spot in my year. And my heart. <3

This year was fantastic, and has the right confluence of charity and humour and just straight up amazing things happening.

I just bought a case of club soda. Let the clubbing commence.

As I said in a facebook comment, Desert Bus is one of the things that show people can still do good. Gives me hope and makes me laugh.

Thanks to all the people involved and to my fellow watchers. It was a blast. And insane. Meow.

Fun fact, there has been club soda in my house for YEARS, I guess my dad drank it at one point. When Kathleen mentioned that there was a can of club soda in the poster, and we had all been clubbed, I actually went and got one. Not terrible, but not good, by any stretch of the word. I still give my sympathies to those Jer and Alex clubbed over DBFH4.

In other news, I do greatly thank the LRR crew and all the sponsors who make this happen every year. Doing my placement in a children's hospital last year, I saw the kind of life children have. It isn't fun. To make 200 THOUSAND dollars to help make their lives just a little bit better is so rewarding to everyone involved.

Is it uncommon to drink soda in north america? Over there in Germany it is drunk by the crate..

Good God, this was my first DB, and I must say, it was...amazing to say the least.

Soda, yes. All the time. Club soda (basically carbonated water), not so much.

My everything is aching/tired, and screaming at me to go to bed already, BUT I CAN'T. I still can't quite process what just happened! The last week of my life has been devoted to this phenomenon known as Desert Bus, and I don't want it to end!!

'Thank you' can't quite cover my feelings towards the Crew and everyone else involved. I'm unbelievably proud to share the same planet with such awesome people <3

Are the desert bus crest t-shirts pre-order only?

There will typically be a small batch leftover that they'll put up for sale, but those will be in a limited selection (s/m/l regular black t-shirt) for only as long as they have stock remaining. So if you want one, pre-order now to make sure you get it, and in the style you want.

Is anyone else amused that we all apparently ran back to the forums as soon as the feed died? So many familiar names in the "who is online" bar below. :D

I never left! I don't know why the forums die out when Desert bus is on... you all failed me! I actually had to do work instead of fluff around. I hope you are all happy!

I haven't even been around for about 6 months, so I REALLY dropped the ball on this one. :p

That said, chilling in the chatroom reminded me of how awesome the people here are, so I should be a little more active now.
