You know, I looked that show up a while ago as I had fond memories of it from long ago. Turns out, it was terrible. An absolute pile of crap.
Sure it was totally unrealistic - multi-disciplinary assignments? Same soldiers piloting spacecraft one episode then ground-pounding the next? Whatever - I just wanna know why the fuck the 'Chigs' could speak Navajo...
That was not my problem; my problem was that it was horribly written, directed, and, especially, acted. And for that matter, you may as well ask why Jabba the Hutt speaks Kikuyu.

Even a crappy story cut short to 1/5 of what was planned and left with a cliffhanger compels desire to see it to a resolution.

Aye, the big problem with Voyager is it wasn't so much about exploring as "getting home" - sure they met plenty of new races, discovered spacial phenomena, but there was always "Okay, how can they/it help us get home?"
Also, she's kinda a dick.

Towards the end of the series, Kate Mulgrew had concluded that Janeway HAD to be psychotic, and started playing her like that. But this isn't a Star Trek thread, sooo...
I would like to see new episodes of Star Hunter. It was a cheesey sci-fi show made here in Canada, that basically worked like a slower, less funny version of Firefly. Was pretty meh, for the most part, but I enjoyed it. Sadly, it ended on something of a cliffhanger. I abhor games/movies/tv shows that end with cliffhangers and never get a conclusion.

Andromeda. Andromeda, Andromeda, Andromeda. I miss the days when the SciFi Friday night lineup was Andromeda, Stargate, Atlantis. I have two of those three series in their entirety (because Atlantis really isn't worth it) but I really wish there'd been more Andromeda.

Stargate Atlantis or some series just called Atlantis?
Also, Andromeda started off good but then it got...like, stupid.

Re: Bring them back you bastards!
Stargate Atlantis. I kind of think the other way around about Andromeda, though admittedly the whole two Trances and one's evil thing was a bit odd. I've been going through them with my family and we're still on the first season when all the special effects were terrible. We just got through the first episode with flash in it, and the one after about the ship who killed her captain.
Edit: It was one of those shows you watched for all the characters *but* the "main" one, though. Dylan always kinda bugged me, but I loved the others to pieces. Especially Rhade. Mmmm, Rhade. Seasons 4 & 5 Rhade... *dreamy look*

I like Atlantis, especially the interactions between McKay, Sheppard and Ronon.

Spaced is still funny when I watch it now.
But I do not think adittional episodes would really achieve anything. I think it ran its' course, and took the graceful exit, rather than dragging on for far too long at getting irritating.
BUt a show that should be brought back for another series?
Black Books.

My Name is Earl ended on a cliffhanger. Let's see, what else... Arrested Development, the original ECW, Group B Rally and the Dreamcast. (Better stop there before I delve into the netherworld of lostalgia).
Thirded. Spaced ended at the right time and place but Black Books didn't.

Firefly
Andromeda - But only with the origional writers. The first season and a half were good, the remaining parts of it were terrible.

I had forgotten all about that show. YES.
Also, on Andromeda: The reason that things seemed to change so much after the first season was that Captain Hercules was pushing for the show to be less about a single captain and his crew/ship trying to rebuild a fallen Federation and more about Hercules punching things in SPAAAACE!
