Confession: I have all the time in the world to check the LRRums, but never do. I prefer it when I'm pushed for time; then I just check one or two things.

I've been avoiding this place and the people attached to it because I'm afraid I'll do nothing but talk about my recent problems and sessions of therapy

The only thing wrong with that is thinking there's something wrong with that. You know we wouldn't mind. Many of us would probably be glad to hear; I've been wondering if you're okay, and if there's something I can do to help, I'd like to know.

Maybe
I can't help but feel I may have been too dependent on such things in the past, and that it's only now that I'm avoiding it that I'm making actual progress... I could just be looking too much into a coincidence, however.

Drunken typing is all show. I've been on these forums drunk and people were none the wiser. I think most people who post like thq0zis whe-2nm th9y r druklo are just trying to be cool.

Fiend, did you find your Kraken black rum yet? I was so close to buying some at the liqour store for the pirate party! (And pretty much to just have!)

Pretty much. People that take care to type somewhat properly while sober just slow down while drunk to make sure that they type what they mean to type. If you actually care, at all, about letting other people understand you, they will. Typing and spelling properly isn't exactly difficult, even if you are intoxicated, on a phone, or both (see: most of my posts from last summer).

Despite usually not caring about how I look I have spent a lot of time over that last few days reading a men's style blog.

What the Others have said really. We're all here for you. We're a community, a clan, a family. (too dramatic?)

I've been wanting to know how you are for a while, you just seemed to have vanished. If you ever want to talk, Kris, you can count on the LRRums and it's members to bend an ear for you.

I also don't remember posting this.

I did find my missing Kraken and Makers. Someone forgot that I keep my booze in a separate liqour cabinet.

Confession:having to be at work at 6am is going to make me a real bastard for the next few days.

Colour me curious. What blog. I, too, am interested in dressing better. And my road trip to the US is the perfect time to get nice clothes cheap.

I had to talk someone important to me off a 20 story ledge, and the main person I want to talk with about it is still not talking to me. I succeeded, but I'm still a bit more than emotionally drained by this.

I just spent almost an hour trying to find a song that I don't know the name of, don't know who performs it, don't know any of the lyrics (they're incomprehensible) and that I absolutely hate more than almost any song I've ever heard. It's some band that "combines orchestral sounds with rock" and the woman singer sound like she had a stroke and is mumbling like Alanis Morrisette if she completely sucked. I've still got it in my head, and it's driving me NUTS.

Nightwish?

I have a higher opinion of their singer than that, but they do fit your criteria somewhat.
