You weren't around the forum for our exchanges Geoff. And you've got to ask yourself if you really want or need to know what went on.

No. I've always had a love of fire. It did die down for a few years and I then discovered Kane and my fire passion was reignited.

I... have a confession to make.
I'm secretly Geoff_B's evil twin. But don't tell him that.

The sinisterness of this statement is amplified significantly by your avatar.

I'm enjoying/getting less frustrated with the forums since I disabled sigs.

Is it really that much of a confession if its a really reasonable thing that most other people (myself included) agree with and are likewise doing anyway?

Re: The Confession Topic: Get It Off Your Chest!
I talked myself into taking part in a local half marathon in June (info on the marathon, for those interested) with the guys at work. The problem is, I'm not terribly fit. Sure, I've been going to the gym a couple times a week since December, but I'm not sure I've been training hard enough.
I recently installed an app that'll help em keep track of my progress when I go running (you can see my progress here, if you're interested). I've only been on two runs so far, and... well, I've made it to, around 1 mile in 15 minutes. I'm worried that I'm not going to be in good enough condition to finish the marathon.
Eeep! I'm not going to be able to finish the marathon.

Re: The Confession Topic: Get It Off Your Chest!
You have to train, and train seriously. There are programs out there, either online, or see if the marathon has an associated training clinic. Three months is tight to go couch-to-half-marathon. Accept that you need to be running at least three times a week or more.
When I did my half marathon I went from semi-in-shape to being able to run it in 2:05 in four months. I did a training program organized by the run promoters that involved a group run once a week and an expectation of two or three runs being done on your own time.

I have a lot of Cadbury eggs in the house. But none of them are from this year. Health hazard to curious friends?

@metcarfre: Thanks for the advice. I looks as though I'll have to commit myself to this fully if I want to pull it off. Luckily, though a friend of mine offered to be a running buddy last night.

I must confess that I often play stupid to facilitate conversation. I probably could've figured out how the whole system works by myself, but if I ask you we get to have a pleasant chat about the whole thing.

I just a review talking about Aladdin and they use the clip of Jafar saying, "I love the way your foul little mind works!" and declare it a pun.
I NEVER thought of it as a pun. I saw that movie almost TWENTY YEARS AGO.
GUHHH.

YOU shut your fuckin' face.
Need to add the emoticon to make sure that's accepted in the right context.
EDIT: Didn't see the thing below the picture. This is just a response to the picture. Dammit, it's 2:30, why do you gotta do this to me so late?

Re: The Confession Topic: Get It Off Your Chest!
I'm told I'm creative, but I don't see it. I'm told I can create stories and characters and act them out, and am very good at it, but I don't see it. I've never really been able to judge it myself.
I take critique a lot more personally than I should, and I know I do and try not to, it's not like I get angry at the person for giving me critique, I get disappointed in myself for making something with such obvious flaws.
