The Confession Topic: Get It Off Your Chest!

Got something to get off your chest, and it's not a miniature arc reactor?

Here's a topic where nobody will be judged (unless you confess to something REALLY bad, in which of course we'll make fun of you mercilessly).

I'll start.

I think Avril Lavigne is really cute.

It's not even a "hot" or "bonerific" sort of thing, or anything to do with her personality or her music. I just like her, pictures of her. I like her for the same reason I don't like Katie Holmes or Kate Hudson. When I see her, I feel positive things. It's as simple as that.

There. I feel refreshed.

Anyone else?

I magically darken my hair.

So, will we not be judged or will we not be judged out loud? 'Cause there's a huge difference.

As far as you know, you won't be judged. Jesus and Story Guy says not to.

.....should I just publish my porn collection here and be done with it, or should I start categorizing?

Just list the categories and GB totals. No need to actually post it.

Confession 2: I've got emotion dripping out my pores and I thought I would let you know. You are the night light, ripping through my wicked world how you make it sparkle and glow. Before I lose control, there's just one thing you should know: this is for real. This time I mean it. I'm coming clean, please don't let go. I said from the start, that you could take it or leave it. I'd prefer that you keep it. Don't let go.

Anyway. Sorry, I can't promise that I won't judge. In fact, I can promise that I will judge because that's how my (and I assume everyone else's) brain works. When I think of a person, I take into account all my knowledge of them and I can't just will away anything I see in this thread. The best I can do is promise not to read the thread, but I'm not going to do that. I might stop reading depending on how boring the thread is.

The thing is, they always say don't judge a book by its cover. But here you are saying also don't judge it by the inside binding, the summary on the back, or a random page I flip to.

I can't see people angry or listen to people complain. It makes me sad/irritated. I can't even read the venting thread anymore.

Gordon, please don't derail this topic in record time. I just want people to be comfortable with letting something out. This is a topic for us to learn about one another.

I can't get a good sleep without Mimm anymore, I keep saving half the bed for a warmth that isn't there. I don't ever want to spend my days with anyone else if I can spend them with her.

Of course, now my brain is in an infinite loop in that in order for that to happen, I would need to die first, which would make her spectacularly upset, but then she needs to die first, but then...

I lack maturity because I have always tried to act more mature than my age might suggest.

I was always the good, reliable boy at school- almost a teacher's pet you could say. However, I feel this false maturity that I've exhibited has been detrimental in my real maturity from growing, so that, deep down, I still think of myself as a 14/15 year old.

Also, I will make excuses as to not look for a girlfriend, the two most recent being that I was a) going to New Zealand and didn't fancy a long term relationship, and b) was in New Zealand for a year and didn't want to commit to a relationship I knew would end at a certain point. No doubt in future I'll make more excuses.

I used to let the "everything's okay in the dark" mentality get to me until I had almost no self-respect left.

I tend not to talk about my issues and problems too much, i just bury them and pretend they don't exist, so I wont be posting in this... bugger.

I don't be the same:

I have different sleep patterns which are really hard to fit around school and things(Just can't get to sleep until around 2-3).

I have different eating patterns(Just dinner and an ice cube for breakfast).

Can't actully relate to many of my friends(apart from one who plays magic too :D, I would actully fit in better here or in city of islands than IRL).

Look like an emo(practacly am an emo rofl) but don't see any point in self damage or others.

Some times I'm as immiture as a eight year old but most of the time I internally look down apon class mates for their lack of being not a five year old.

I'm really short. This sucks because everyone look down at you literly and figureatively.

And yeah *sigh* I really don't belong in society that much. :/

Well where do I start?

I'm a self hating nervious wreck who believes that everone thinks the worst of him. I find talking to people IRL difficult and feel that all my real life friends hate me for some unkown reason. Due to my educational environment, I'll have next to no work.

They're just the first three, I'm sure I'll think of more.

So... you're confessing that you're awesome?

I'll confess to consciously attempting to avoid leaving fingerprints. I don't always do it, or do it obsessively, but I get a certain amount of satisfaction when I can leave a room knowing that I've, at best, left only partials and probably a few stray hairs.

I used to be a furry! *cries*

Also on 3 occasions I've eaten a whole birthday cake to myself in one sitting.

I don't know which one of the two is worse.

Aside from actually having friends (note plural usage; it's significant) and are male, same goes for me.

Also, I need to get a job to help empath fill in my Big Hole O' Debt, but I really, really don't want to work.

Are you also a horse and/or a broom? Because to be quite honest with you, I would be surprised.

I'm a very modern, liberated woman, and I like working but sometimes I just want to be a housewife. No kids. Just hanging out at home, reading, writing the next great Canadian comedy book, baking great low fat muffins, and having a really clean (like SUPER clean) house.

That would be awesome.

I can cook, quite well in fact if only in comparison to my housemates these past 2 years, and I actually quite enjoy cooking meals, I just prefer to feign ignorance so I can cook with my favourite chefette.
