So, turns out that at least one of the LRR crew plays Minecraft. So, what do I do? I go and use the skin editor for Minecraft to make LRR skins! I'm not very good, so I'm sure that someone else could do a better job. However, this is what I've done so far. It's Graham, Alex, Paul. (in that order.)



Paul has no ARMS! But it doesn't actually look like that, it just didn't render properly in the screen cap, for some reason. I'm not too fond of either my Graham or Paul, but I really like the way Alex turned out.

I hope that you all like them and that the crew like them, and that maybe I can later on make better versions once I make a few more people (I'm planning on doing Kathleen, James, Jer next.) I eventually want to do Bill and Morgan (there's a sentence for a straight man to say outloud.)

Also, if you want the swatches or whatever they're called so you can run around as the LRR crew, here's the ...layout or whatever they are.

I may tweak the skin file to make it look more like a full beard and less like a handlebar mustache. I think it needs some beard on the front of the face.

Awesome, I'm glad you like it ! Yeah I had put some on the face but for some reason, it made the mouth look wierd. I'm not really sure why, lol.

And now I'll add the two I did today: Kathleen and Matt.



And here's how they turned out. I'm ok with Kathleen but Matt didn't turn out how I envisioned. I've used his fancy blue coat that he wears for the Runners in CH. It's really hard to do a tie in minecraft. The grey things on his coat are buttons...to help make it look more like a coat. I originally wanted to give him the Halo symbol, but I couldn't get that to work any better than the tie.



Like I said, I thought Kathleen turned out alright. Of course there are certain...shapes that can't be added in a square game on one layer so I did the best I could to avoid making her just look like "one of the guys" if you catch my drift. I used a mishmash of something I think I remember her wearing on an ENN episode. Her hair was particularly hard to capture right without giving her a unibrow, lol.

Also, I just realized on both of them that I didn't color in their "wrists" so it looks like they both wear REALLY long sleeves. I don't know if they play Minecraft or not, but I hope they both like them. I'm gonna try to do Jer, Bill and Morgan next (again, not gonna say that outloud.)

Matt needs to be blonder, for one thing.

Hmmm...yeah I was trying to go for a blondish, dark brown look, but it came out like mustard. I'm also not happy with his hair. I might move it down one more pixel so that it doesn't look like he's experiencing male pattern baldness. Or I could use the second layer on the head (man I wish it were all over. I could add swords and other things like necklaces.) and maybe make his hair look more poofy...but that'd probably just look wierd.

Thanks for the praise on Kathleen! Looking at it now, I feel better about it then when I first did it. I think I'm gonna rework Paul and Matt eventually. Hopefully I'll get better at this as I go along .

Dude, Maerarde, that is really awesome! I had actually thought of doing just an LRR guy but decided against it because I figured people would already have made it, lol. Thats really awesome

And if anyone else has a request for an original skin, I can make one for you. I'm not very good (as you can see by Matt and Paul, lol) but I'll try my best. I can't do actual characters though, I'm terrible at that.

Yep that was Alex I was originaly thinking I'd do one of him with his goggles on and then I realized I don't know if I've ever seen him wear those goggles. I don't know when I'll get to making a few more, depends on when I have more freetime. I know I will on the weekend, but I'd like to make a few more before then.

And no problem Mae, that was a really cool skin you did. We should combine our forces and see if we can get any other LRR shirts on there, hehe .

Hey Mae, I probably wont have free time for a while, so I don't know when I'll be able to get on. But we can work on it as we go, hehe .

Also Vaughn, you have to use the second layer for the head on the right. You'll see two spaces for "face" you want the one on the right. Then it sort of floats infront of the face and wraps around the sides.

Yeah, i know. I just think the Pixelsize doesnt compliment it, and it might be better just to exclude them ^_^
