Ottoman, everyone in there is pretty much a LRR fan, but very rarely are any of us actually discussing LRR.

I realise that it isn't a channel for discussing LRR. I was in there one time, and at least two of the handful of people there said that they never watched LRR. Maybe I just have shit luck; I've never seen more than a few people there at a time not idling.

Admittedly when spend more time talking about random stuff than LRR proper on these forums.

I think I had a similar experience to Ottoman, where people were on and were discussing the latest video and some people literally said "What's lrr?"...

I try to go back sometimes, but when I do, it seems like no one is talking... maybe I go at the wrong times.

Well, the issue is with some of the most active members.

Asellus, Magick, and Melbel, all frequent chatters, don't watch it.

So the rest of us who DO watch LRR get eclipsed.

It doesn't help I so rarely log in...

Magick, likewise, is awesome, and is an IRCop (and while he doesn't like to the attention [sometimes], is the owner of the servers).

I think she just got tired of YOGTAS's bullshit so joined the better channel.

We don't tend to actually discuss LRR, primarily because there's only so much you can talk about. It's got the same diversity of conversations as the forum.

IRC is an interesting medium because you tend to get a lot of people who show up in a good channel simply because it is a good channel, regardless of the original purpose of the channel.

Yea, all the conversations (both hillarious and awesome) were not LRR related at all.
If you do show up, please stick around because we may be talking about something seemingly disturbing when taken out of context.
