If you've ordered anything from LRR you will have their address.
I'm not sure when I'll be able to get my victi...er, recipient's package in the mail. Hopefully early in the week but it still requires a bit of preparation. With luck they'll receive it by or at least near Xmas.

Depends on how recently he's ordered from LRR, the Runners shirt in his avatar pic was probably shipped from a previous moonbase.
Re: Official Christmas Baking/Cooking/Craft/Secret Santa Thread!
Chemistring, thanks for the answers - they're quite helpful. I think she does quite a bit of knitting on the go, while in transit and such. Though I also want to make a bag for someone else who does most of her knitting at home. On the other hand, though she knits at home she tends towards smaller projects. Maybe an open-topped bag or a sort of cloth basket could work? In this case, would it be helpful for it to have dividers inside, or pockets, for different balls of yarn to sit in?
Dubious, the moonbase address isn't a super state secret, and can be given out to those who have some decent reason for needing it. I mean, it goes on all the merch that's shipped out anyway. If you want to PM me and let me know why you want it, I can probably give you an answer.

Re: Official Christmas Baking/Cooking/Craft/Secret Santa Thread!
Tally, I would definitely go with drawstring bags for on-the-go project bags, in whatever size(s) you think are suitable. Useful additions would be drawstrings/handles long enough to loop over a wrist, or some other way to secure the bag to another object.
For at home knitting an open bag or basket would both work. Dividers would be fine, something that lets each yarn skein roll around a bit as it unwinds. Here's a couple of links to give you some more ideas: the Swift bag was designed with extensive input from knitters, and this is a tutorial for a project bag sewn as a gift.

Re: Official Christmas Baking/Cooking/Craft/Secret Santa Thread!
I suck at checking the forums >_< Good thing I already know what kinds of things my Secret Santa would like! But, for the unfortunate soul that got me, I probably should clue them into my interests...
I like rainbow-y things, unicorns, peacock feathers, artsy fartsy supplies, most anything 90's related, animu/mango (errr, I mean anime/manga), and singing.
I think that's a broad enough spectrum... Now, off to put the final touches on my gift!

It's easier to just do what I'm doing; ignoring their wishlist & giving them something *I* like.

Gift has been mailed to the recipient. Supposedly will be there in ~2-3 days so should definitely be there before Christmas.

Gift done, card ran into snag so may be delayed. Posting to UK though so I have a few days, hopefully.

Re: Official Christmas Baking/Cooking/Craft/Secret Santa Thread!
I plan to have mine out this week. The trick is finding an opportunity to finish it when I'm not already sick of dealing with other gifts. I like to be creative with gifts, especially as something as special as this.

Mine will be done tomorrow, have the day off and need to be in town anyways so will grab a gift then.
Just to make sure: if someone here gets a package for their forum name with a silly last name from the Netherlands it is probably mine

Re: Official Christmas Baking/Cooking/Craft/Secret Santa Thread!
Due to money issues that seem to be non stop thanks to immigration, 2 vehicles breaking at once and being sick in America, the land of the retardedly high health care premium and copays, I will not be baking anything awesome for Christmas this year.
I saw the caramels Tally posted on her Twitter (yes I caved and got a Twitter), and they look SO DELICIOUS. I have been craving caramels ever since she posted asking for a recipie. Has anyone had salty caramels. Salt and sweet are my favorites!

I made the UPS dude giggle today with the Pseudo-names listed on my packages. LOL. He thought it was awesome. Hope all of my gifts are well received, here and elsewhere.

Swedish salt liquorice. If anyone not Swedish and not me can like it, I think you probably can.
