Re: top 5 with Lisa Foiles
I have to say that it seems quite obvious that she's playing a character for the lists, and the critisms of her for that seem unfair in that light. I mean thats one of the big things in comedy you get comedy from the character, it seems clear to me from the stuff she's written and the segements where she's not list girl that she's taken the decision the write herself as that character which is a smart move, let's face it people will tune it for that, but also I do think its funny. So I think it does work.

Re: top 5 with Lisa Foiles
I just watched Top 5 Songs and the only thing I agreed on was Poe - Haunted. This was the first time I watched and I find her very annoying for several reasons:
Voice: Cuts through my ears.
Arm gestures: It looks like someone has left an electric fan on and every time it sweeps back across her her arms flutter about like tissue paper. I'm not sure what's up with her 'signature' pose of hands on hips, maybe to take up space on screen so people know its a person not talking to them and not a stick.
Mannerism: Annoying.
Show in general: I really couldn't care what she suggests and I usually like lists.

She reminds me of Penny from Big Bang Theory, and as awesome as she is in that show, why would I want to watch her without the other four main characters?

Because I like going "Yeah, that's actually me."
And because sometimes they get something wrong and I get to feel like a superior geek

Are people still talking about this? I thought e pretty much all agreed that this is a persona she puts on that many of us find somehow insulting, and decided to move on.

It's been moved up since I posted. Weird that the video went up before the feature slot, but yes, my bad.

Re: top 5 with Lisa Foiles
The videos on there tend to do that. I've had to check for LRR vids a few times before a feature.

She seems to be improving, I was actually interested and entertained by this episode.

Re: top 5 with Lisa Foiles
I find it an interesting show.
I don't particulary care for top 5 lists nor other people's opinnions. But she's charismatic.
To begin with I thought it was a lame as in she was flirtatious and I thought, well yeah.
But I think she's doing it to take the piss or to be ironic or what ever.
I seem to be still watching it. Maybe it's because I'm a man and she's blond and has boobs.
I hope it is because it's a good show and not that I'm pathetic.

Not really.
Specially not when she wears the T-shirt.
Also I never got how blondes are attractive.

Also, I don't think she's naturally blonde. That might do it.
She looked better with brown hair. Just sayin'.

I nevertheless find YOU attractive Matt, but it isn't because you're blonde.
It's because you are 'dorable.

See, but if you didn't have such an anti-blond bias, you'd totally find Matt hot. Or whatever the level above "'dorable" is.

That sounds like a fetish that involves Dora the Explorer. Ew.

Dammit! Now I have to eat my words. Top 5 blondes in games was... actually pretty entertaining. I didn't laugh, but I was smiling throughout.

I think he's talking about me reviving this thread yet again and... yeah, I'm sorry. But y'know, I actually enjoyed it. Given how critical I'd been, I felt I had to be open about that.
