I have accounts at probably 15 or so forums, some of which I abandoned and some of which I still use for lurking, but this is the only forum I regularly post on any more. I just don't have the time to be active on more than one, so LRR gets my attention.

Mostly just here right now. I used be active on a bunch of RP servers, but they all fell apart. I'm starting up on a new one now though.

Oh yeah, I guess I have an account on The Escapist I never use, and one on the Vancouver RPG boards as I've been trying to find a D&D game for some time now.

Apart from here, I'm active (well, relatively) on a fistful of gaming, anime, music and webcomic boards. Those activities aren't nearly as prolific as they used to be due to changing time constraints contributing to a more passive online presence on my part. I haven't mainlined SA, \b\ & GameFAQs on the fly in a fair few years, for example.

I have something to admit.

*Deep breath*

I was once part of another forum *cries in shame*
...aaaaaand scene.

I just remembered this last night, but I was an active member on a forum for an Ultima Online server*. That's the only other place that I've seen an atmosphere kind of like this one. A little smaller, not nearly as open and prone to more arguments, but close to this one.

...okay, so I needed to dig into my email account for registration info for a gaming site, and just had the darnedest trouble finding the email, so I ended up finding a list of ALL the sites and whatnot that I've signed up to in the past four years.

Remember how I said "at least twenty-six"?

*snicker*

An order of magnitude or two bigger than that. Took most of my morning (but I was downloading game clients anyways) but I counted over three hundred message board/forum logins; of those seventy-nine are still working, and only three of those did I not post at least twice. Apart from LRR and My Other Forum, the last community I stopped posting in was six months ago (but I'd signed up to it only days before; the associated free-MMO didn't appeal much), my last SERIOUS community from the other two I'd left two years ago, and this summer I'd dropped by to save and upload a few of their more unique emoticon gif's to my photo/shack account, and made a post in the still going strong "Random Babbling Thread"...they still remembered me.

Who knows? I might raise that 'active forums' stat back to three...

I don't have any other forums... none that are currently active, anyway.

Started posting in another forum a little while ago, but... the level of intelligence and literacy was shocking. Plus I kind of felt like I was cheating on you guys.

Loadingreadyrun - My internet family. I'm sorry I'm not around more guys.

Penny Arcade Forums - I spend too much time here. Way too much time. It's like a slightly upper class 4chan.

Gateworld.net - I used to role play in their "Aftermath" role play, I'm getting back into it because I miss it.

Melband - A Victoria wide website for bands advertising and looking for artists. I should be meeting my new band soon.

RPGforumsOnline.org - I used to be in a "Heroes" themed forum based RP. I lost interest though in the end.

I sort of feel that way with the amount of time I spend on the Penny Arcade forums. :P

Does anyone else find it weird that we mostly frequent this forum? It's like we just became more familyesque than we had thought.

The Calpunk forum I was on was rad before people started abusing it. I had almost 20,000 posts and was on a badass star warning level. It was super fun.

I was lurking on another websites forum a few weeks ago and thought to myself how weird it would be to start from a 0 post count again and get to know everyone in that community.

Two.

A secret forum of magical wonderment that I run and a forum that is an offshoot of a wiki devoted to following a walking DSM-IV.

The LRR forum doesn't count, I don't post here.

Ohhh, I've forgotten most of the forums that I've ever joined.

Mainly they tend to be failed attempts by someone to revive a community that died long ago, or they're attempts by friends or acquaintances that want to try to make a forum, but really have no meaning or goal behind them, apart from 'I just felt like making a forum'. None of them obviously go very far, so I'd started giving up on forums, buuuuut this is where LLR enters the picture! I finally decided to give forums another chance and thus joined this forum.

I guess that's a rather long winded way of saying, no ... I don't frequent any other forums. =]

I'm not too surprised, honestly. While I spend a lot of my time lurking, when you get a large number of decent people together with a common interest (in this case, LRR and being nerds in general), you develop friendships and a family-esque mentality.

Also, with so many people that have visited the forums over the time they've been up, eventually the people that stay tend to remain because they like the people as it is. *shrug*

I used to be a member of a few forums, mostly (godawefull) RP ones, but I gave up on them a couple years ago.

I'm just present and contributing to here now, and I suppose technically The Escapist forum, since I do now have an account there. I just don't feel like becoming active anywhere else; nothing seems worth it. I'm happy here. ;)
Except for when nobody posts in my threads, *sniffle* =(.
