It'll probably still be going at 3AM, considering their track record.

Well, thanks to TomBrend and TomBrend's floor...I will be in Boston! YAY!

I can't wait to see how everything has been improved and changed from last year.

Are there going to be any people wandering aimlessly around the Convention area on Thursday afternoon?

Do we know where a meetup will be, and when?

Meetup will likely be on the Saturday, as per usual.

I'm really, truly sorry if that bones anyone but Saturday is the most attended day of the con, and the day of our panel/screening.

Location to follow, we don't know the venue.

Also, random question somewhat unrelated to LRR at PAX but:

I found out that Friday, Harmonix is doing a massive mix CD swap at their booth. I think this is really pretty kickass, and I know there are people here (*coughcoughkathleencoughcough*) that are really big music fans. Anyone else want to join me in participating?

URGENT-ish MESSAGE

I was browsing the PAX forums, and it looks like Coldbrew, the guy in charge of making the Community DVD, is looking for someone with a camcorder to record certain panels (because they can't be there), and one of them happens to be the LRR panel. Does ANYONE have a camcorder they can bring along to film the panel for the PAX DVD guys? If so, contact them via http://www.paxcommunitydvd.net and let them know.

I might be interested. What's the procedure, are you supposed to bring your own mix CD to swap?

I spend far far too much time crafting mix CDs and they end up being absurdly specific to my tastes. I don't think I could make one in under a week.

Same here, but I think it would be funny to fill a CD with all the horribly weird music I listen to and sick it on some unsuspecting victim.

Tried to get on the boards, but the friggin activation thing doesn't work. I'll tape it, but I only want to bring my tripod if it's necessary.

RE: CD Swap

You bring a CD with your own mix of music, whatever you want on it. You stop by the Harmonix booth at some point Friday, and you put it down and pick a new one up.

Ooh, I have a further, more convincing excuse. I don't have any CD's. Only DVD's. Maybe after PAX I'll make a playlist and a thread and we can discuss mix CDs. Or mail them to each other. Forum mix cd swap anyone?

BUSTED!

All I had were DVD-Rs, because I couldn't find any of my CDs. SO, I just used some restraint and made a mix CD on a DVD as a data disk.

Does anyone know if they will be letting people test out the 3DS at PAX, because if they are I will so totally wait in line for that. I really want to see if it will be worth my time and money to get, and if not, then at I know.

I don't know if the 3DS is there specifically but Nintendo does have a booth.

I've heard the 3DS will be there, and I imagine there will be a massive all day line up in the Exhibition Hall for people to try it. Unless you're really really freakin lucky.

Well its official:
3DS to be playable at PAX East

The games list is surprisingly long considering Nintendo has one of the smaller booths at the show...Who knows maybe everyone will think that it'll be too busy and not bother to line up.

Hey, I can dream can't I?
