I'm having a dance party right now about PaxEast

Are you offering free space or pay space?

Preferably pay, since it's a hotel and all, but I totally know how it is and if you really need space, we can work something out just pm me.

Oh, hey LRR, would you guys like some more cookie crumbs? I can totally make you some cookie crumbs again.

Sad, yes, but there is a magical thing called Photoshop... for sake of all of us who totally want to see this cosplay costume of yours.

While it's entirely possible that there are things going on behind the scenes that I don't know about, it seems a little surprising to me that there is a panel on Running a Child's Play Fundraiser and LRR isn't involved.

Indeed, schedule is up for all those who want to see: http://east.paxsite.com/schedule.php

I didn't think they were doing one this year. Regardless, we've only ever been halfways helpful on those panels as we only do an online event.

Still, sounds like your premise would work for most charities.
Punish yourself and your friends.
Get payed to do it.
Send money to charity!

Woohoo! PAX East badge get! It's all shiny and red.

So help a PAX virgin out here. Do they give out lanyards when you get there or do I need to devise my own way of attaching this to my person?

They will give you a lanyard, you get a swag bag when you go in the first time.

I went to put my badge with my registration confirmation, and noticed that it very clearly says in large letters, "you'll receive your lanyard and badge holder at the show".

/facepalm

Wooo my badge is here!

I was thinking if anyone else here is the type of person who likes these things - that meeting up and playing some board games would be fun - like Apples to Apples or some such - maybe Thursday night?

Or maybe I've been so socially isolated since going back to school that I'm just crazy desperate.

Got mine yesterday in the mail. Very excited!

aeric90 wrote:I didn't get mine shipped because I'm Canadian :( I have to pick it up or something.

Not a big deal; if I remember correctly, since most people have gotten theirs shipped out, the pick up line is pretty minimal. If you get there early on Friday it shouldn't take long at all.

My pass arrived, but I'm an enforcer... so I don't know what I will do with it. Anyone want to buy it?

can i ask a massive favor?

I cant make it to pax(i live in nz)

but a game that i play League of Legends(dota style game) are giving away a code for a skin of one of the characters dressed up as cardboard tube samurai, I believe that they are putting the code in the swag bags and its the only way to get it short of ebay, so if anyone gets a code for it that they dont want i would be more than happy to take it of your hands.

many thanks

Try.
