Times when I just can't
Bring myself to say it loud
'Fraid that what I'll say comes out somehow awry

That is when it seems
We move in circles day to day
Twist the drama of the play to get us by

And it feels like fear
Like I'll disappear
Gets so hard to steer
Yet I go on
Do we need debate
When it seems too late
Like I bleed but wait
Like nothing's wrong

You lift my spirit, take me higher, make me fly,
Touch the moon up in the sky, when you are mine
You lift me higher, take my spirit, make it fly,
Where all new wonders will appear

Like the other day
I thought you won't be coming back
I came to realize my lackluster dreams

And among the schemes
And all the tricks we try to play
Only dreams will hold their sway and defy

When it feels like fear...
Like I'll disappear
Gets so hard to steer
Yet I go on
Do we need debate
When it seems too late
Like I bleed but wait
Like nothing's wrong

You lift my spirit, take me higher, make me fly,
Touch the moon up in the sky, when you are mine
You lift me higher, take my spirit, make it fly,
Where all new wonders will appear, oooohhhh

You lift my spirit, take me higher, make me fly,
Touch the moon up in the sky, when you are mine
You lift me higher, take my spirit, make it fly,
Where all new wonders will appear

Take me high
Make me fly

I haven't gotten round to listening to the whole album, but I've heard a few of the songs, and they were real good! :)

Ooh yeah, that's a good one. Hm, from one album before where I got into the band, I should work on that backlog!

I only know that song because it was used in a montage for the wrestler Kane. It's how I learnt about Blood Red Sandman too.

The Race For Space - Public Service Broadcasting
A brilliant album that tracks the US/Soviet space race from Kennedy's "this decade" speech to the final Apollo moon landing. As is PSBs style, the music heavily features audio samples from speeches, tv reports and NASA CapCom audio logs.
Stand out tracks are Go!, Gagarin and The Race For Space

Roll The Bones by Rush, but only the first half of the album. The second half is kind of boring.

A new album from The Fall signals time for the annual evening of laughs in the company of Mark E Smith & Co. Beyond that this year's Raw Power features Circle & Pharaoh Overlord, Gnod and Cosmic Dead to name a few favourites. Same weekend as Expo that; looking very dense. This year's Supersonic bill includes Holly Herndon, Gazelle Twin and The Bug. Hectic month ahead.

Listening to Homestuck Volume 9, can't stop listening to one track, LancerLancer. It just makes me shiver in a strange way when I listen to it, walking through the city early in the morning, when the streets are empty.

Finally got to listen to Kamelots new album Haven and now I'm superstoked to see them live in september! Given what the band said about their album before release I was wondering if they could live up to their intent, but they delivered as promised. It's definitely Kamelot but they're pushing further into a new sound with Karevik and I like it.

If I get anywhere with writing Lost Earth I'd really lie Locking Up the Sun as the opening song.

Holly Herndon's new album Platform was released just this past week and it is bloody fantastic. Challenging, weird, glitchy, futurist electronic meditation on our strange techno-corporate present. It's pretty out there, and pretty damn great. Even blindsides with a frankly excellent ASMR track that's full of uncomfortable, brilliant commentary on cultural and economic elites, the stories they tell themselves, and the modern messiah complex. Dense stuff.

EDIT oh and the beats are pretty dope, yo
