magic nube

Postby SPACExJUMPxJOSH » 02 Apr 2011, 11:56

due to a rather large quantity of people telling it's amazing, I have just ordered this:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Magic-Deck-Buil ... 521&sr=8-1

any advice anyone can offer? As with any collectable hobby there are probably things I should know before I buy things :P

I recently just got started with magic too, somebody suggested a deckbuilders toolkit to me too, i think you're on the right lines. If you wanna play somebody on a similar level let me know.

All cards have alternate casting cost: remove any article of clothing for a colored mana of the same color as that article of clothing, you may not replace the article during your next untap step. Instead of exiling a card, you may choose to exile a piece of clothing from your body.

Remember kids, whether tapping asses or land, make sure you use sleeves.

No: remove n article of clothing, prevent the next n damage dealt to you or a creature you control.

Desert Strip Club

Enchantment

Exile x articles of clothing, discard x cards: draw x cards, prevent x damage from any source or counter target spell with casting cost x or less.

My advice is to play whatever cards and whatever format(s) you find the most fun, and enjoy the game. And make cool crafts with any cards you decide not to use. ;)

you're over complicating things, for every five life you lose you sake of an article of clothing, if you add life you put on more:

20 life: jumper, shirt, trousers, underwear.
15 life: shirt, trousers, underwear.
10 life: trousers, underwear.
5 life: underwear.
0 life: nothing

if you go above twenty:
25 life: coat, jumper, shirt, trousers, underwear
30 life: top hat and monocle, coat, jumper, shirt, trousers, underwear

Well, not to spoil your fun, but that's not going to work.

I, for one, almost only ever wear a T-shirt, jeans, and one article of underwear, and feel terribly uncomfortable in more.

Aubergine, on the other hand, wears a sweater, a t-shirt, pants, and TWO articles of under-clothing, being a woman and all, and then she plays a healy deck.

Furthermore, you are completely negleting socks here.

All I'm saying is it's not standardized, and even assuming I was willing to put on a sweater, aubergine either loses two articles of clothing at 0 life, or finishes the game with one on.
I can put my hands in my head, and I can laugh it in the face.

Yeah, the point isn't fairness, really, so much as it is nudity.

I would suggest playing all the colors and finding out your play style, and then go farther into the color that corresponds with your play style. Aggressive and Control, all colors basically can offer you both in some form but some colors offer more for that play style then other colors.
