Speaking of which I have a memory of Eastbourne a couple of years ago. At the end of the pier there's a fishing platform. On this particular day it had a group of adults and kids, presumably the latter were learning the fine art of fishing. Anyway one of the kids caught a fish and took it to a table to gut it. He started by attempting to make sure the fish was dead by hitting it against the table. Except he did it so weakly the fish was obviously still alive as he inserted the knife to remove the innards... There was a lot of flapping around from the fish...

One time I was out fishing with my dad and he caught a snapper. According to him the way you kill them is to stab them diagonally behind the eye. SO he did that and dropped it into the chilly bin. A few seconds later, we hear mad flailing. So he pulls out the fish and stabs it again in the same spot. Back into the chilly bin and like clockwork we hear mad flailing. He goes through this five times until he's just like fuck this and cuts the fish's head off.

One from the Metro this morning

So this morning I wake up from my apparently eXTREMELY deep slumber to find out my garden had been thrashed abouth by the storm. My hanging plants were on the ground and my faux light is bent in half. I picked up the container my cucumbers are growing in to find a bed of baby millipedes/eggs. I chucked them out of my garden one by one, but there's still alot hiding in there. GROSS. Found one on my pant leg and I'm pretty sure they are all up in my clothing.

My uncle shot a small nail through his finger. (Note he was alone at the time) He horrified my aunt and youngest niece by doing the first thing that came to mind: Grab a camera and take some pictures. (Then he calmly pulled it out, put on a bandage and drove himself! to the er to have it looked at)
