That's so adorable!!!!!
I also went like a little girl when I saw a bog-standard garden snail munching on a daffodil leaf. I saw it mouth go OM NOM NOM NOM. It was astonishing.

That one is. Then you remember the whole biting off of the head during sex and they become significantly less cute.

Since we're talking about snails (shut up we're still talking about snails):

Image

This is a partula tree snail, specifically Partula nodosa. They can be up to .5 cm long and they're critically endangered, so my zoo is one of the 6 zoos in the US (I don't know how many globally) breeding them for a "snail reserve" that's about 1 acre. They've had some problems, like the time the local invasive carnivorous snails managed to get in or the hurricane that knocked over most of the reservation, but overall they're doing pretty well. Also, I got to hold one once and it was adorable.

Image

This is a baby Partula faba. They are extinct in the wild and only being bred in captivity in one zoo. When this snail was born, there were 88 surviving snails of the species.

But that's not all that important because they're TINY GODDAMN ADORABLE SNAILS.

Now I feel bad for all those snails I've eaten.

Shit Geoff, if I could look that noble taking a piss I'd vie for crown of Most Interesting Man in the World.
