Re: Thread of soothing cuteness
We're visiting my dad's for the weekend, so my son and I are sharing a bed.
It's the first night, I get up to get a drink of water, when I return, in his sleep filled state, he tells me I need to lay down. He then proceeds to move across the bed in order to lay across my feet like a kitty.
Yes I snapped a picture, Sleeping children count as cute.

My pet cat.
Yes, you can see on the monitor that she has sat on the [return] key and is also sitting on other keys.

I just assume it's either because the laptop keyboard is non-functional, or that the USB one is significantly more comfortable to use.

Or this is so much of a habit for the kitty so you can easily lift it up and move it away so you can return to your game.

Re: Thread of soothing cuteness
No correct answers.
A Year and a Half ago I spilt Acrylic Ink into my Laptop's keyboard (I never use fluids near my laptop. Especially after the Beer incident with my previous one). The WASD keys stopped working... so I ripped up my whole laptop's keyboard (I mean what's the use?). I now use a USB keyboard which makes my laptop heat up, and is uncomfortable to use (hurts my wrists).
Now:
On topicness.

I think they're in the salamander family, but they're a very specific type. They were on QI once... can't they regenerate or something equally weird?

Those animals are called axolotl and you can actually cause them to turn into salamanders with a simple chemical injection
