Ooooh, are those the ones at the Vancouver aquarium? Because I've totally seen them do that! I suppose otters in aquariums all over the world probably do this, though.

It's probably an instinctual behavior, rather than any emotional or intimate one. By linking their arms, they prevent drifting in the water while asleep.

Bunny was named Rainbow Dash by the younger generation (my niece and youngest cousin, both 4 year old girls). Picture was taken on Easter.
