Sorry Rainbow Dash, but Fluttershy's "yay" is the best thing of all time.

In all seriousness though, I agree. Those two pictures should really be in reverse order, but alas, I am but a man subject to the whimsy of the internet.

I think I'm going to wait until I see all the episodes before I actually pick a favorite pony, but I'm definitely leaning towards Rainbow Dash.

Dash is probably the pony I'd most want to hang out with. Applejack is the one I'd most want to have as a trusted confidant. Derpy Hooves is just my favorite for reasons of she makes me laugh and is adorable and strange.

I think this pretty much sums up my conversion.

And this just makes me giggle.

Edit: I've also been throwing out occasional pony pictures to my friends to see if any of them take the bait.

This is probably the best argument for the show that I've seen.

I may or may not have Fluttershy's 'yay' and 'you rock. woo hoo.' as notification ringtones on my cell.

Ditto, Matt.

As it is, tonight the 8-bit chorus of Winter Wrap-up replaces the LRR theme as my ringtone. I have not been able to get that song out of my head since I watched the episode. SO. CATCHY.

You don't have mp3 ringtone capabilities? If so, I'd totally make that for you guys.

Iphones don't allow custom text tones unless jailbroken.

I'm not jailbrakig my phone, even for fluttershy.

Custom ringtones I can do (and I have the MGS codec, presently)

Heh, I have Kefka's theme as a ringtone, and it oddly seems to mesh well with Fluttershy for notifaction/text messages.

Rocket convinced me to watch the first several episodes of this.

I don't get it. It's not terrible, I mean, if I ever have a daughter, I'd certainly rather watch this with her than Dora the Explorer or Bratz, but outside of ten year old girls, I don't see the appeal. Foster's was brilliant because it worked on several levels and had this undeniable, silly appeal for adults and kids at like. This is...well, it's exactly what I'd expect a MLP remake to be.

I'm baffled.

See, I find that MLP has what I would describe exactly as an "undeniable, silly appeal for adults and kids alike".

But, nothing's for everyone, and that's cool.

Which is pretty much the best way to convince me to watch something. Particularly if getting up means leaving the XBox.

Well, in my opinion "the several few episodes" aren't the strongest of the bunch, what with the two-part pilot being pretty different entirely in style and whatnot, and then the really fun stuff not picking up until around episode five or six...
