Re: Any Bronies up in here?
Reminder for anypony that needs it, new episode tomorrow!
Hmm, and while I'm thinking about it I need to work on my Derpy Hooves v2.0 figure.

It seems appropriate to say that I will be organizing a small Brony convention called 'Winter Wrap Up' next year, around the end of Season 2 (or early March).
Those of you in or around Vancouver BC may want to attend

I think I know of some people who would like to attend.

We're really lucky in that most of the voice actors and a bunch of the animators are local to Vancouver also, so getting them as guests should be pretty easy

I was going to make a quip about most animation being done in Korea these days but I researched a bit & found that indeed, it is animated in Vancouver at Studio B Productions. Kewel.

The ones where her teeth are crooked are the ones that really freak me out.

Looks like I'd better avoid this thread now until I see the episodes.

...That was me until partway through middle school. I got my first "c" in 8th grade. That was an eye-opener.

... wait, did they just make an episode that justifies not putting out new episodes every week?

Re: Any Bronies up in here?
I think they just made an episode that makes the plot a TINY bit less ridiculous (now more time can pass in Equestria between episodes, rather than the rather contrived something happens every week).
Re: Any Bronies up in here?
Interesting side note: the writer for this episode was the same writer for Party of One AKA the one where Pinkie Pie flips her shit.

Re: Any Bronies up in here?
I never saw the events in Equestria to be in any particular order to begin with. In the space of three or four episodes - to quote Monty Python - "spring changed into summer, summer changed back into winter, and winter gave spring and summer a miss and went straight on into autumn."Fayili wrote:I think they just made an episode that makes the plot a TINY bit less ridiculous (now more time can pass in Equestria between episodes, rather than the rather contrived something happens every week).

Re: Any Bronies up in here?
Seeing as I can't figure out how a show about ponies has caught on in such quick succession with young males, I shall take it upon myself to watch the the first episode to test myself to see if I have an immunity to it or not.
I guess if I like it; I for one, will welcome my new pony overlords.
And if not; Well, that's just, like, you're business man.

Re: Any Bronies up in here?
I've seen the first three... apparently it's the fourth that gets you hooked. Outsmarted a boolit there, methinks. Seriously though, the first two are (according to the bronies I no in the real world) probably the worst episodes, since they have to spend more time introducing the characters, setting the scene etc.
