I haven't paid any attention to the series since the end of Season 2. They kinda lost me during the season, but the finale was good. I haven't sought out anything MLP since the S2 finale.

I did see the link to the video on the Escapist, but I thought that they were just rebroadcasting the music video for some reason, or had some kind of commentary.

Is there somewhere I should have found out about this other than EQD?

I haven't watched the show since S2 either - but I've been encountering news about this just through random surfing of the internet for like, six months now.

I'm just amazed you haven't also stumbled across it.

The trailer was only recently featured on Escapist. That's my excuse.

My advice, watch season 3 but avoid the finale.

Also WHY IS PINKIE PIE BEATING RARITY!

I thought the finale was awesome. The musical numbers alone make it worth watching. They're superb.

Yes there's a lot of questions left unanswered, but let's at least give them a chance at the beginning of season 4 before writing off the whole thing. I'd like to put a little faith in the writers.

As for EQG, I've been hearing about it for months. I thought there would be more of a commotion after the premiere in LA last weekend, but I guess most of the bronies haven't seen it yet. This movie doesn't really appeal to me based on what I've heard, but I'm very curious to see how the community reacts considering my aforementioned faith in the writing staff. I have a feeling it might not be as bad as everyone assumes, but we'll see. I'm not holding my breath either.

I'll stick my neck out and say, I quite enjoyed the s3 finale. Sure it was very fast-paced, but let's face it: In the 22 minutes they had, they did a good job of getting a -lot- of information through while making it interesting.

I will admit some of my enjoyment stems from a not insignificant ammount of nostalgia from the Disney musicals of old.
And sure, it was a bit too fast paced in places and does leave questions to be answered, but like Tapir I'll wait to see what the staff will do with the intro to s4

As for Equestria Girls, well. I dunno, I'll probably end up watching it eventually. Not sure what to think about the previews I've seen so I'll wait with passing judgement untill I've seen it.

Season 4 just hit Netflix. Having watched all of it now I have to say it was good but not as great as the first 2 seasons. A lot of call backs(or fan service) and the songs are not as great but overall it was pretty good.

But that Scootaloo episode... :)
Oh and I still have that "Hearts as strong as horses" song stuck in my head. And the a capella song with Fluttershy. And the Trenderhoof episode (Simple ways?) was great. And it was neat when Twi went ssj3.

I hope this is the right thread. I made a pony of myself. I hope it interests people.

I don't actually watch the show, but on the MLP topic, I met the actress who voiced Vapor Trail in the episode Top Bolt yesterday, so that's kinda cool.
