I tried making a cover for my novel even though publishers really don't care about that sort of thing and it's largely just for my own amusement. If you had to guess, what would you think this book is about?

My first instinct is that it has to do with exploring, probably aimed at a younger audience, but with a focus on some sort of simultaneously exciting and terrifying concept, like the scope of the world or isolation or something like that. Despite my guess about the audience, it looks like it still has complexity beyond simple childlike wonder.

Or maybe it's about a race of post-apocalyptic psychics. That'd be neat too.

One of them is definitely floating, so there's a supernatural element, maybe "The girl who ran away with the wind" like, the East wind is a spirit and the other person's a small girl who gets swept up and flies away with him.

The floating person looks like they're wearing a dress, but it could be a cape or a robe.

I definitely get a supernatural vibe from it.

Anyway, time so post more art me thinks. Haven't done much lately, wanted to, but just can't focus. Have managed to do this though, concepts of a player character and an NPC from an Eclipse Phase game I've recently started running.

I was going for ruins, and the floating girl is supposed to be wearing a skirt, so that's probably good. Exploring the exciting and terrifying complexities of the size of the world and the distances between people mixed with childlike wonder is closer to the heart of the story than I had hoped people would get by actually reading it so I may have to marry you, Jamfalcon.

Nice, thick atmosphere. Maybe I'm biased to your subject matter there but I like it. The kind of painting where I'd like to spend the better part of an afternoon staring at it and dreaming stories into it.
