For the lols
Re: For the lols
You wouldn't watch it for its historical accuracy at least. Wasn't Pocahontas 14 or so and John Smith 40+?

Re: For the lols
The Disney version of Pocahontas is actually very close to John Smith's version of the story.
That being said, he had lots of stories that followed the formula "Travel to a distant land, meet beautiful princess, get in dire straits, princess saves me, makeout times."

Re: For the lols
So umm. Funny story to tell.
I clubbed myself.
I was down at the shops right after getting out of the doctors and getting lectured on not drinking soda or juice or energy drinks or any of that, so I figured "Well, I need a drink, and I could use a new water bottle. The only one i've got has been sitting on the back of my desk for about 6 months, half full. Now, I can get this 600ml one for $2... Or, OH HEY! 1.25ltr ones for $2.45!"
As I was walking out of the shop and opening my drink, it fizzed. So I looked down and this is what I see.
So, on the plus side, it's really only half club! the after taste is still wretch inducing though.
On the down side...

I need to go and snap a picture of it, but there was some Kafka traffic signs out in front of Johns Hopkins last night
1) Left lane MUST turn left at signal
2)(at the signal) NO LEFT TURNS

There are several no U turns signs on a one lane one way road over by the motorpool here on post.

Re: For the lols
I once saw a sign pointing in two directions, one of them said "all directions" and the other said "other directions".

Re: For the lols
They both say "All directions". Someone added a paper that reads something along the lines of "you figure it out (on your own)"
In this one, the top one to the left reads "Other directions" and the top one to the right reads "All directions"
I don't know what the hell these people are thinking.

Technically though, it's absolutely accurate, provided you're willing to go far enough.

Someone steal that sign and take it too the north pole.
Also, to the Pocahontas stuff. You guys do all know that historically, she actually married John Rolfe and was brought back to England with him, right?
