Interestingly, Magritte does have a famous painting of a giant apple, just not wit the guy if the background. It still looks pretty close to the first picture.

Yes, actually, it usually doesn't affect green-red though, (it tends to manifest between weird colours, like green-brown and blue-violet, and sometimes I can tell colours apart just fine)

My understanding is that if you are colorblind you are like 90% assured to have the red/green issue.

Thats a big deal in the military because you cant use our lasers, (most) HUDS, or night vision equipment.

As I have mentioned above, the red-green issue only occurs rarely for me, for most shades (I'm assuming that's the issue) I am perfectly capable at telling the difference. Genetic! It's a lottery of wacky fun!

Hey, when I had to 'fast and purge' for a weekend in prep for a colonoscopy, I tried that out of desperation - it kinda worked, briefly. Might've even been more of a psychosomatic thing, but based on the distance between the fridge and the bathroom, not very effective...
