What's the latest cd you bought?

Postby Fumbles » 20 Apr 2006, 18:36

Yesterday i went out and bought the new the living end album. It's pretty good going back to their loud rockin days. The song writing is better on this aswell and chris does better on vocals. I also got the best of pink floyd.

I LOVE AMON TOBIN! How have we never discussed this? Also, I haven't bought CDS in a very long time; however, I am going tomorrow to order in a replacement copy for my "Nina Simone sings the blues" CD that I sadly cannot find anywhere...cause it was made in 1967....stupid old cds

did you hear the exclusive tool special on triple j?
Yeah wolfmothers music sounds like alot of bands from the 70s yet no-one seems to care if a modern day band sound like another modern band.

Mine as well! I assume you have heard the Handsome Boy Modeling School albums. They aren't as good as Deltron 3030 but he still does some awesome things.

I just picked up David Gilmour's On an Island and Boom Bap Project's self titled.

I own them both, and I actually think White People is a better album than 3030, but that's just me.
Day in the Life is an AWESOME song.

I like to make fun of Kathleen's love for Neutral Milk Hotel because when she first told me about them, it was in response to me asking for a lame band name, and I thought she just made it up.

I know, I know, their music is pretty good, but COME ON!!

White People IS a great album. I probably have a soft spot for Deltron as the album single handedly intoducted me and addicted me to Hip Hop.
