Hey, so I have a short survey about current events that I made for a school project. If anyone has a spare two minutes to fill it out (and maybe share?) that'd be a huge help. If you have any questions, let me know! Thanks!

Edit: closed it down to analyze, thanks everyone :)

Here's a weird request: anybody know of any crime thrillers where the case/investigation spans several years? Like there're time skips throughout the movie? Something like Zodiac.

It's not a crime thriller strictly speaking, and if you're looking for a film you've not seen before then it's almost certainly an unhelpful suggestion, but the film that immediately springs to mind is Zero Dark Thirty.

Anyone know if I can get this video shown at Desert Bus, on its own?

This one?

I've added the blog post for all the remix entries to the YT video description.

I'm curious if anyone can add their opinions to this. I'm considering picking up the Collected Works of Hayao Miyazaki from Amazon. But it's price tag is throwing me off. $200 is a lot for 11 movies. Especially when I could get them all (most including bluray+DVD) for under $170. Does anyone have any idea if it's really worth it for the collection version, beyond being fancy?

From what I've read, the biggest draws in the collection's favor is better video/audio quality and not using 'dubtitles.' As someone who's not likely to watch the sub version, the latter isn't too relevant. The big downside is no special features for any of the movies.

I guess I'm really asking if anyone here has experience with the recent Miyazaki releases or the Collection itself. And, if so, what your thoughts on the Collection's worth would be.

As a slightly related note, the only movie I currently own is an old DVD copy of Princess Mononoke, which is pretty scratched up from being a rental. So I'd basically be getting it for all of the movies.

So, that Kate and Co 1 AM Dennys excursion on Sunday might've been the best thing I've ever seen on twitch.

I never thought about it until now:

But is there a thread/forum for discussion about streams?

Oh there is a thread for random thoughts here to, so not only twitch chat can enjoy my work randomness.

It's real lonely at work and I am stuck trying to figure out where the code to a deamon that moves things from one table to another table is. I think I have commented it out but it seems untrue when I run a command.

Paul updated it. He's wanted to update it for some time, since the previous update was in 2007.
