Don't expect me to gush, I'm only there half a day to represent my uni then meet up with you guys on the Saturday....for some reasons me and cons don't go hand in hand.

While watching tonight's Magic stream I decided to make a new version of my avatar. Thoughts? Does it lose some of its memorability by being higher (but still not very high) quality, or does it look a bit more interesting?

in all honesty, I think that the older one is more endearing. The new one looks really... off. Like it's going for a realistic style and not doing so well. While the first is more stylized if that makes sense.

I kind of like it, but I do feel the head could be rounder, like the old one.

Having given it a day and come back with fresh eyes, I've decided to stick with the old one for now, because there's just something off about the new one. I think a big part of it is that his head and shoulders imply he's on an angle, but his chestplate is shown straight on. I do like the design of the armour though, so I might take Lurkon's suggestion at some point and try to do a new head that looks more like the old one and stick it on that body.

But until then, the classic will remain.

So, I met one of my half-brothers today for the first time.

Initial impressions: I prefer him to my other brothers.

Second impressions: It turns out he named his kids after Lex Luther and Luke Skywalker. Definitely my brother. I also met the other one today. Cat guy, so I like him too.

Only downside is that they're both Leaf's fans. Now, poor decisions run in our family, so I can understand that, but I certainly can't support that.
