Re: The General Chat thread
I don't speak to them at all. I may try to strike up conversation but they are silent.
When I feel in the mood to unfriend them, I'll try to strike conversation first and then when they reply I'll feel bad about even considering unfriending them. Then some time later when they're silent again, I'll consider unfriending them and the cycle resumes.
Did you know I am a pessimist?

Yup, I was wearing a christmas hat for nearly a year, cause I was too lazy to change. In about two months time the christmas hat will return!

I've gone for years with "Christmas" avatars before. I like jolly hats.

I don't think I could possibly top my Christmas avatar from last year, so I'm not really going to try...

Man, I did about 10 or 15 mspaint Christmas avatars last year. Hell, I did Gunner's current one... I think.
It was a Hijack Thread thing.

I remember that. Didn't you modify the "Bah Humbug" one I put up as well?

Yeah, I looked it up, it all started page 302, and yeah, I flipped your frown to a grin and changed the "Bah" to a "Yay". I was quite proud of that.

If I want to christmisify my avatar, I should probably start now...

I might use the gif I made in the LOLs thread and have a Christmas hat flying instead.

Re: The General Chat thread
Not sure if I should buy new components for my PC, or just get a whole new PC.
I need to upgrade my RAM, Processor, and probably upgrade to a 64-bit system. It'd be obviously cheaper just to buy I'm probably at the point that I'd need to replace most of the smaller components anyway.
I might wait until Windows 10 is out and see what people say about how good (or bad) it is.
As long as most of my older games are compatible, or just work, with Windows 10, then I'd be happy with that.

^ same. But a whole PC in both circumstances. I'm awaiting confirmation of a learner's grant, and then I need to wait for months before I've accumulated enough to buy a system.
I also need to wait for my friend who's well knowledged with computers to be well enough to pester for more information.

I am so glad Kathleen brings Graham food every week during his stream. I'm learning so much good recipes.
Can Kathleen do like a cooking podcast or something, because I think I could learn so much from her.
EDIT: Ok, she offhandedly mentioned putting together a LRR cook book. YES PLEASE!

I'd love for Tally to be able to do a crafting podcast/stream one day if she has the time.

Re: The General Chat thread
I still think they should do a ladies podcast where they drink just talk about stuff. And then just include a recipe section and a crafting (tip) section. Everybody wins!

Random Thought: If Firefly happened today, how likely would it be to have been either kickstarted for another season/the movie? And if so, would it have been by the creators, or Fox as a way to 'gauge interest?'

Re: The General Chat thread
I would like to think that it would stand a good chance, but Joss is probably busy with Avengers 2.
Any firefly revisitation would be doomed to not be as good as the original, (or as good as fan's expectations) which sucks, but is generally proved true. They did their best to wrap it up with the movie, and I think they succeeded.
Also, any continuation would not include tudyk
