Well, I do need a sandwich, which requires a kitchen of some description.
Back off on another week of night shifts! Yaaaayyyyyy....

I was thinking similar this morning but the way you worded it just had me HOWLING with laughter.

I had a very good Monday, where I watched Inside Llewyn Davis and Her. And now I'm pissed I watched Lone Survivor. What a shitty movie.

Because you human meat-sacks need food to continue the inhaling of oxygen, yes?

Not sure where to post this but any news on aa new GPLP? I would ask over there but all threads have been locked. I've been reviewing Cursed Crusade and it's still just as funny the second time.

Have the LRR sleeves and playmats sold out? Because they have disappeared from the store without warning.

Re: The General Chat thread
The preorder period has endded so they are probably going to fullfil orders now. I assume that if there was sufficient interest that they will put them back up after some amount of time. (and preliminary reports from Graham seem to suggest that they have sold at least reasonably well)

Hmm, I never could find a pre-order period mentioned, but thanks for the heads up

I think they initially said something like a 4 week period, but I don't have a source for that. The blog post mentioning it was posted February 10th so it at least seems to be somewhat accurate.

Clearly someone enjoys the sun rising at 11am during the Winter.

Re: The General Chat thread
I never enjoy the sun rising. I've always been a night owl, which is apparently that, every time I have a day off - every time, whether I want to or now - I tend to go to bed just as the sun is coming up, when normally, that's when I wake up.

Re: The General Chat thread
I thought DLST comes from Europe when people were farmers. It allowed the farmers to have a more productive day since they used daylight to work.
Having the sun rise at 11am impeded what they could actually do.
Basically, The Government wants us to farm for longer.
And the Polish are stealing the jubs

I mean, I kinda get the guy's sentiment, but everyone using the same time is rather convenient. What is his alternative? This?: http://www.escapistmagazine.com/videos/ ... -Timezones

I've said this many times, and I'll keep saying as long as people unintentionally propagate this misinformation:
FARMERS HAVE ALWAYS HATED DST. It's as you said - farmers use daylight to work...but they work ALL DAY LONG; they don't care whether that's 5am to 7pm, or 6am to 8pm, or 2am to 4pm!
...the cows certainly don't give a fuck what 'time' it says on some arbitrary human-created device.
Thus, having to change clocks twice a year for even less point than the average 'cityfolk'...yeah, it just pisses farmers off.
Golfers, on the other hand...well...

DAMN YOU, GEORGE VERNON HUDSON AND/OR BENJAMIN FRANKLIN!
Thus ends my contribution to the daylight savings discussion.
Wait, no, there's something else. Fuck it with a big nobbly stick.
Now I'm done.
