Question:
Beard Progress is currently holding at "Awkward, 5 O'Clock Shadow, and Kinda Patchy" stage...should I hold out and continue allowing it to grow, or scrap the project and shave it?

Personally, I would say it depends. Do you have any important plans over the next few days for which a patchy beard would be inappropriate?

Then personally, I'd say hold out and continue to grow. But then, I enjoy beards of all kinds.

Yeah, three weeks is a decent beard (at least for me), but it took a few months before it really grew into itself.

I've basically been growing this beard since 2002. With a few exceptions where I shaved it for the purpose of cosplay. Dr. Mario doesn't have a beard, dammit!

It's still fairly windy here, but at least the high winds of a few days ago have passed. I think the rail line is still closed past Katoomba after this happened to a train at Medlow Bath. They're still working to remove the trees.

..... that was awesome.
I dunno what y'all are on about, but I thought that was a adorable. I mean, japanese as hell, and clearly designed to promote selling the stuffed cats to that japanese goth subculture (insert proper word for that here), but adorable nonetheless.

So, a friend of mine stopped over while I was making lunch (ramen noodles) and basically yelled out, "IS SOMEONE DOING HUNGRY SCIENCE IN HERE?"
Yeah, thanks for that.

It's alright, now; I have a lamington to soothe the pain. And tomorrow, I shall have jolokia paste. Soon all will be right with the world.
