You poor man.
Re: Venting Thread Gamma
As a guy with long hair, I'm just going to put it out there: I'm not trying to be attractive to Nevrmore! My girlfriend digs my luscious locks.

Not once, in my entire life, have I looked at a man with long hair and thought, "Yeah, he made the right choice. That does look better."

Well, excUUUUUUUUse ME, princess.
As another man with long hair, I'm not sure why I grew it out. But it has been commented that my hair is "pretty" and "long-ass hair" my one woman and man, respectively.
Re: Venting Thread Gamma
Fuck, I just remembered, the dude I mentioned in the post still has my LRR season 4 and cowboy bebop remix. Damn, hope I can get them back with him breaking them

Re: Venting Thread Gamma
I was going to post a bunch of pictures of really lame looking people with long hair which everyone on the internet is 90% more likely to look like than Slash, but why feed into it? Instead I'll just say that image leeching is not cool, bro.
Re: Venting Thread Gamma
Image leeching is too cool for school.

Hah, I was actually going to post this before you guys started with the pictures...

I'm still going to assume this Venting Thread, so treat this accordingly. IE no responses.

Been there, met. *hugs* 14y/o shepherd with hip dysplasia. It wasn't easy, but better for her than letting that state of affairs continue just out of selfishness. Had to carry her from the car to the vet's office...that's just not fair to her...yeah.
...dang, these fora keep making me reminisce some pretty sombre stuff, huh? Excuse me while I go find something to laugh about!

I might have guessed. (And yes, I can taste the hypocrisy. It tastes like orphan tears.)
Now, not to sound cold. . . okay, you got me; to sound completely cold, perhaps we should split off a 'sympathy thread', so to speak. We keep the Venting Thread focused on anger and frustration, with replying discouraged, and then we have a place for people to share sad things and whatnot, and replying is encouraged to give them moral support (or whatever they're looking for).
But of course I'm not going to get my hands dirty by creating such a soppy emotional green thread, so I leave that to someone who's into that sort of thing.
An engine that both consumes and creates malice.

That's kind of what we use the mixed emotion thread for, neh?

Re: Venting Thread Gamma
Which is weird, because "sad" isn't mixed emotions... it's "I'm sad"

But what if you are sad but torn between "Really sad" and "Kinda sad" ?

Re: Venting Thread Gamma
Uh, 'we' don't use that thread, because as stated above, I don't want to be involved with soppy green nonsense. Judging from the title alone, I would have guessed that it would be about mixed emotions, things that are conflicting or confusing; you, however, seem to be suggesting that it's for only sad things. . . which aren't, in fact, mixed at all. I should have known that I couldn't trust such a thread, but foolishly, I thought the title would be accurate. Maybe I should go vent there, instead, and 'mix' thing up a little bit, hmm?Fayili wrote:That's kind of what we use the mixed emotion thread for, neh?
