I'm looking in two more stores today. A very limited holding action.

I'm sure I didn't spend this much money when I had a girlfriend on the other end of the country...clearly having one five minutes away has downsides.

Example: Magic card spending has ballooned, lots of snacks and junk foods rather than cooking, etc. etc.

I bought a $150 paintball gun to go along with $50 dollars on the actual paintballs.
Witty and humorous signature here.

Maybe the fact that she's into MTG is a contributing factor?

Have you factored in the money you spend on trips back and forth across the country?

Blast! My one weakness, import video games with offical cosplay stuff in them. I'm trying very hard not to buy Steins;Gate for the PSP but I want the lab coat and slippers that I could easily buy and modify myself. Well, perhaps not too easily since there's some kanji I'd have to see on both and that could be tricky.

And working ten hours overtime this week isn't helping with not buying. More money means more stuff!

Bought an new CPU and motherboard last week.

Just bought a Kindle.

Thinking about getting a Samsung Galaxy S II.

Thinking about buying various Blu-rays and DVDs along with a Blu-ray drive to play said Blu-rays.

Bought yesterday:

1 x PS3, 160gig hard drive, with HDMI cable as well as LA Noire and Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood thrown in as bonuses. I'm unsure if I'll keep either of them or turn them in for store credit; already have LA Noire on Xbox.

I like how you show off your Rarity more than your PS3.

Grown man buys MLP is funnier than grown man buys PS3.

Although grown man buys PS3 to play roughly TWO GAMES is kind of forehead slap inducing.

My recent haul:
- Wedding dress
- Saints Row 2 for X-Box 360 (ostensibly a birthday present for my brother, but who am I kidding?)
- Paying off a bit more of Mass Effect 3 preorder (when I told the cashier what I was there for, he said, "Good girl". That's probably better than when I put down the preorder, and the cashier told me, "Don't buy Dragon Age 2".)
- Season six of How I Met Your Mother.

And I still haven't bought the new shoelaces or the new bag that I've been meaning to buy for weeks...

Italics are done using square brackets on this forum, I think it's because it uses BB code instead of HTML. Possibly.

Anyway. [] not <>. ;)

Yeah, intellectually, I know that, but I keep getting it wrong because I'm also working on another forum which uses HTML, and I keep typing the wrong thing automatically.

Also, I thought I'd fixed it before anyone noticed. :P

My sisters boyfriend (he's 21 if anybody is going to ask) bought a PS3 and God of War, played it for a few weeks, and sold both. He now wants a PS3 (or a 360) to play Mortal Kombat.

Also, I might have just bought this MLP shirt.

Along with a polo with a patch on it saying 'Death by Overwork' since it looks like I'm going to be doing a lot of overtime right now.

While it hasn't happened yet, I need to buy a new keyboard/mouse.

Since when playing some games my keyboard and mouse literally stop responding.
I can put my hands in my head, and I can laugh it in the face.

Last time I thought "I need a new keyboard" I spent about 110 on one.

Sure, advising me not to spend my money there is sort of unprofessional, but I like the staff there. They give me the good advice, even if I'm too stupid to take it sometimes.

Which means you'll go back there more often and spend more money in their store overall. So it's a perfectly valid marketing strategy (strategem?) :D

Stratagem, I think, is more appropriate. It's a single trick, not a campaign of related ones.

Also, I bought a PS3 blu-ray remote. Ah, much better.

Now, if only I owned more than one blu-ray! But Tangled is fun.

Rapunzel is my favourite Disney princess. Yes, she even beats out Belle.
