I just bought the entirety of Stargate SG-1 on DVD...

My dad happens to have the entire series, but he got it as birthday / father's day gift... but I'll likely have to rip them all to a USB HDD so he can marathon watch there series (& possibly save a couple of DVD players each year in the process). I know expensive they can be.


Right now, the FIF is tempting me to get an Alienware Alpha once my tax return comes in... The i5 / i7 configurations, NOT the i3's, are what I'm looking at for something I could use for a few years (before passing it off to my parents or something.

SUPPLEMENTAL: I pre-ordered XenoBlade Chronicle 3D (N3DS) while buying another USB recharger (gave the other one to my mother for my old 3DS) at GameStop. Now I'll have to leave for work early on release day to pick it up as I won't be able to after work... Hope the interstate northbound opens up as there seems to be major congestion during the day (might have to look at taking in-town routes to bypass it)...

All to VTO availability at work isn't helping either...

I'm relatively new to the world of textiles, but somebody recently showed me how to make wool pom-poms - its so neat! I may now be heading down this slope too...
