It's an Asian import. You can get lots of different flavours of "tea" (chocolate, strawberry, lychee etc.) and then at the bottom are tapioca balls. You drink it with a huge straw and suck up the tapioca balls along with the tea. I really like it, but I haven't have one for ages.

What is bubble tea?

An abomination, that's what.

You need to get FRESH FRUIT bubble tea if you guys do. None of that milky powder syrup crap.

Sorry Met, you're wrong. My tastes are impeccable.

Yesterday was another great day. I was able to see my books in final print form (complete with a single error that I forgot to fix all those months ago - Grrrrrr). My book was signed by pretty much all the crew bar Matt who was at work. I got to meet Jer and Andy. *Giddy* I was allowed to stay and help out on an up coming video, which is very nice. One of the highlights is the clubbing of Alex and meeting a very special guest. I recorded some behind the scenes so I'll put up a 'Loading Time' when the video actually goes up.
After that, met Cam and went to dinner with him, Graham, Kathleen and Tapir again. I tried Teriyaki for the first time! Another great day, thank you.
Also, buy Crapshots DVD, it's great.

I know I'm going to get some flak for saying this: I preferred the burgers over at QV's to Pink Bicycle.

*Ducks a hail a of thrown fruit*

I'm sorry, I'm sorry. It was very good and I would recommend it to anyone who comes to Victoria. Found something LRR were looking for and deposited it in a semi-safe place at the Moonbase.
Going to wait until 23:00 then head over to Sticky Wicket to see if they will be showing England's world cup match.

Not going to Sticky Wicket now. I have access to the matches from my hotel room so I will not focus on my video editing. 2 Random ones, and maybe a Loading Time.

I *should* have sent you to the building that the old Moonbase was in. Or, I could post more puns on here. And there would be nothing you could do about it. :P

PS. Get editing! I want to see the clubbing of Alex!

My last full day of exploring and I will do some whaling. Any recommendations for me on what I should do on my last night?

Get drunk and accidentally chat up a girl. Wake up the next morning regretting it intensely.

Yeah, hookers and blow is NOT, repeat, NOT, on the list.
Made a trip to Red Fish Blue Fish, best Cod I've had since I've been here, just like home.

Whale watching was good, but they did frown on me when I showed up with my harpoon.

At the moment still haven't thought of anything. More than likely quiet time in and watch LRR Season 5 DVD.

Unfortunately there is no true poutine to my knowledge in Victoria. It really is more of a French Canadian thing.

To be fair though, poutine would have been better at la belle potate in Vancouver.

Had a nice conversation with Tapir at the Starbucks in Chapters now I'm back in my hotel to watch Season 5 and get some packing done ready for tomorrow.

Thank you everyone for taking time out of their lives to show me around, especially LRR for letting me sit in for the day and see how they get things done. I've had a really nice time here, lovely scenery and lovely people willing to help a tourist.
I do hope I get to come back to Canada sometime soon.

Goodness, Elomin. You sound so nice and well-adjusted. Keep it up, and we'll start to think you're normal.

I kid, I kid.

Of course we'd never think you're normal.

Hey, when I get back to Wales I know I'm going to be filled with so much vile spewing hatred. It's all coming back to me about why I wanted to get out of there for a while.
