lrr on windows media player

Postby Fumbles » 20 Jun 2006, 18:57

lately my computer is being a bastard and is not letting me watch lrr movies (or any other quicktime). From this i know it's my player thats is screwing around. I was wondering is it possible to get a lrr version to run on windows media player?
cheers

No not the anti christ! backs away throwing holy water.

Use VLC. It will play just about anything and it works on just about any platform.

windows media player does not work on my computer. Then again I have never used it (Would if you had winapp, quicktime, itunes or vlc to choose from?)

The MP4 files should work in Windows Media Player. It will say that it doesn't recognize the file type but you can tell it to play it anyway and it works fine.

VLC is still better though.

VLC needs a nice GUI to make it eat ram better

not to say VLC eats ram, but media players can be very heavy sometimes.

i went through a lunatic piracy stage and i only recall finding one thing that didn't work on vlc and it was because they had coded it in a format that they had invented and you had to download their stupid player(rat dvd). it fucking sucked. worst media player ever.

He checked the profiles of you and Graham to see whether there were any other sites you were associated with and then he ended up doing a mass download of the videos and signed up here.

(Mind reading skillz).

I decided to to study the incredibly rare species known as "nice people on the internet" and observe them in their natural habitat. :)
