If we get to $500,000 lifetime donation for DB (~$57,000 this time around, I think) before dawn breaks (ha ha) during Jer's shift (so, 6 am; 36 hours in), he has to go. If we make it there before James's shift ends, James goes with him, RIGHT after his shift ends (so, shift ends at 6pm, they go see the movie at 7pm).

Matt will go see Twilight if the total raised for all Desert Buses hits half a million dollars before the "break of dawn" 6:00am of Jer's shift. If it happens during James' shift, he and Matt will go see it together directly after James finishes his shift. It means they need to get over $47 000 or so before those two deadlines for Matt to see it.

EDIT: Fayili beat me to it.

PikaChaos, if you are on the forum, no idea what your username is here, I can write that slashfic for you if you want.
Maybe we can auction off the rough sketches for it if you want on this Desert Bus, which would be quite awesome.
Heck, maybe BrainStew can look over it and see if my story telling is any good and make any alterations on it, we may be able to create a winner here!

From what I understand, once the total viewers of a stream reaches 1000, J.TV limits connections from outside of North America to just those with premium accounts.

If that wubstep hat thing with Matt wasn't recorded, I will die an early death.

EDIT: Is anyone going to record Chris Avellone tomorrow? I'm going to miss him tomorrow because of a class. That guy is one of my storytelling idols.

So I have a theory on who the mystery driver is (They could have been annunced when I was sleeping but whatever)

Anyway! looking back a few pages with Graham mentioning they don't know yet, and when they do he'll let us now how excited to be, and with James saying it was someone in the moonbase. I'm thinking maybe it's what the whole Team Ashton/Team Kroze voting is all about. Sure it could be just for fun like last year, buuuut I can't help but think MAYBE we're voting for one of them to drive?

I think it was mentioned that they had two external HDs. They'll record everything to one then Paul take's it home to back it up while he sleeps.

Why does Twitch.tv feed not work after the ad? All I can get is the loading icon and black screen on both feeds and I'm on high speed now so it should work...

Twitch.tv has a lot of black screen issues for Nov. 16 up to now. I think more people could watch if it was still ustream. :( Tech support says to send info using button on the video but when I click send nothing happens...

Curse you, biological need for sleep! You have failed me for the last time!

Realising I wouldn't be able to stay up until 5am, I decided to just jump the bid on the CYOA books and hope... I was going to bid $750, but then I thought that that was nearly double the current bid, so maybe a bit excessive, so I wound it back just a little. Then I wake up to find I've been outbid... for $740. Damn.

Oh well, I guess I'll just have to hope the live-auction set happens while I'm awake...

I set aside $700, and I don't expect to get anything I'm interested in. The craziness this year is just...crazy.

It's disheartening indeed to see auction prices skyrocket so quickly past one's own budget, but not all hope is lost. For custom craft items, you might contact the crafter personally sometime after the drive is over & see if you can commission them to create another item for you. I did this with a LRR scarf a couple years ago when I couldn't acquire it through auction. I may do it again with the Desert Bus Strategy Guide book safe as I may not be awake through auction end. I see the artist has an Etsy store so I'm hoping they wouldn't mind creating another.
