<3 Hi. There are a couple of others, but for the life of me after work, I cannot remember them all. It doesn't help I miss a good two thirds of the day, only being able to check Twitter and the main page at random times during work. In reality, I got lucky with the timing of Desert Bus and where I am in my life right now. With a couple auctions I really wanted at times I was actually around (culminating in Tally's zergling plush which I don't regret at all for spending that much, or staying up later than expected for), I focused on those, and throwing money into challenges of both to people and dollar variety. Who knows, next year I might not be so lucky, but I still plan on having money squirreled away for it, because it's for the children, and that is really all that matters.

I was only able to donate $30 this year (one challenge and two raffle tickets), but that's $30 more than I was able to donate last year. The "Substitute" challenge was $20 well spent. XD

Gratuitous copypasta. Anyone record Kathleen's haka earlier in the week? It was my challenge and I missed it. Sad face.

I'm pretty sure everything has been recorded by LRR and will be put up eventually if someone hasn't already.

Now to the computer literate, my internet connection has been really slow occasionally in the last two or so days, I'm assuming this is DB related, as I have been using Chat. Will it wear off after a while?

Justin.tv automatically records streams. If you sift through, you could eventually find it.

I've really enjoyed it this year. Yes, interactivity's down, but... I don't know. I still can't stop watching it. Plus it's given me some of the best laughs this year (mainly Alex/Kroze's Baywatch thing this morning)

Woo! Managed to get through a challenge for Tim to host a live edition of Who is a Cow.

Sadly every time I set up a challenge for King Kool to do a Toast Review of DesertBus he disappeared back to the prize mines so it got rejected.

Writing the Krashton slashfic (and thereby bringing up the "I need an adult" meme). Gunner donating for Fugi to wear a dress, dedicated to me. Having Graham read out quite wonderfully
Kroze, you have failed in your duties. Not once have I seen the bag of candy corn employed. Hand it over to Ashton. I trust him with it, though my trust in you has been betrayed. #TeamFugi and thereby #TeamAshton.
and then since Kroze didn't do it the next day, making him grovel... Yeah. I think I'm pleased with the mark I've made this year.

I'm annoyed about spot. I spotted him and was writing it out just as Anubis wrote it out.

I'm annoyed about Spot because it's a freaking 360p stream. Damn was that blurry. Props to anyone who saw him.

The last thing before I head off to work is Paul singing Hallelujah.

THANK YOU, LRR and people involved for this wonderful watching time. We did some good thing here.

Till next year!

I just want to say thank you to everyone involved in DB. All of you!

A very good friend of mine died a few weeks ago of an asthma attack in India. She just turned thirty and spent her life suffering from serious asthma and frequent pulmineri edema. Despite this she was a vibrant active dancer and a person who didn't let her sickness get in her way.

She told me about how as a child she was frequently in hospital for months at a time and how scary, lonely and alienating it was to be a child with a life threatening condition.

I've thought about her frequently this last week and all of you and what you're doing for children in the hospitals today has made me feel better. It's made me smile. And I'm sure, somewhere there is another small girl on a reporator who's scared and lonely who you've made smile as well with what you've done.

Thank you.

Dear LRR and everyone else who made this possible. Thank you SO much for the past few days. They were amazing. I can't wait for next year. More will be added to this message later.

Finished my tribute song for Desert Bus for Hope 5!!!

You can download it here:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=7LFKDVI3

Here are the lyrics:

Busser Faster Stronger:

Yeah. Alright. It's auction time!

If-a-if if if you try to snipe me,
it's gonna' make me stronger.
I need you to make a bid now,
'bid bot won't wait much longer.
Chat knows I'm totally gonna' beat ya.
You may think you're harder.
But just wait for when I make my next move,
cuz epic space bid is coming at you.

(Get your bus on. Get your bus on!)

Hey, guess what internet, cuz it's that time of year.
When a little charity can make the sick children cheer
It started out with a game that is boring as heck
8 hours for a point leaving players a wreck
But then a guy named James had a crazy idea
Although the only real winner was the local pizzaria
So the LRR crew played, for all they were worth
'Cause to Desert Bus for Hope they had finally given birth

So they live stream the thing, and their viewers donate
with the moneys adding up at an alarming rate
And as the marathon finished, they all shouted BOORAY!
With over 22k going straight to child's play
That was year 1, still more to see
Driving so much bus, it's like a Desert Grand Prix
Eyes glued to the screen, as they do a skit
Next up it's an auction but you won't win it, cuz

If-a-if if if you try to snipe me,
it's gonna' make me stronger.
I need you to make a bid now,
'bid bot won't wait much longer.
Chat knows I'm totally gonna' beat ya.
You may think you're harder.
But just wait for when I make my next move,
cuz epic space bid is coming at you.

(Get your bus on. Get your bus on!)

Well, as it turns out I'm not the only bidder
But I'm not going to run and I won't reconsider
Check out the madness that I'm laying down
It's called Hendecuple, it'll take you to town
I bring the smack, you're just all talk
If you don't bring your best, then I'm gonna walk
The prize will be mine, so you better watch
Who do you think that you are really, Notch?

This chat be ballin'
Neil Gaiman's callin'
He supports Team Kroze
Now the world knows
Time for one more auction
It's some craft concoction
I see you sweat, cuz it's about to get
(Harder. Better. Faster. Stronger)

(So get your bus on! Haha, I'm honking on the horn now!
So get your bus on! C'mon! Get your bus on!)

Can you even believe, that's it's been 5 years?
Now the moonbase is full to the brim with volunteers
The industry's jumping at the chance to get involved
But we'll never forget that for kids its' revolved
Guest after guest, call after call,
Your so sleep deprived that you can't even crawl
At the end of the show, you know you've done well
So it's time for the victory dance caramel!

(So get your bus on! And let's bring on the cheevos!
So get your bus on! Get your bus on.)

Just a damn fun week. All my free time and non-sleep time got poured into DB. Even though about 90% of my posts were in caps. I may have been kicked out once or twice. Probably got drunk with my bro playing our own drinking games.

I basically turned into a soccer hooligan for a week.

I'd do it all again.
