If by "huge whole" you mean, "whole lotta Loading ready Run to watch," then you're right. Welcome. Are you new to LRR or just their forums?

I have used about 30%.
During db3 I called my ISP and asked them if we could be given a higher data allowance and they refused my offer to pay more etc. with the same company now we have 500gb monthly, which I could never hope to use.

I accidentally used well dong in an IRL conversation with a friend today, I had to explain the meme. It was funny.

I've only used 41GB, but that's mostly because I was without computer, if I had it for DB then it'd have been much higher..

Yeah. Now I can't look at Captain Picard and not think of Desert Bus. And the worst part is that I can't even assimilate him into DB properly.

The only one on the forum who should know is CTMolloy, he won the giveaway to be told. I asked him about it but the information was never passed over.
I'm thinking it was an umbilical cord, left over of a circumcision or some kind of fluid.

Ahhh, i was there when it was announced that it would be an auction prize and he could tell people or keep it a secret. But that was at like, 3am and i went to bed, never knew if he told people what it was or not.

Though my original thought was either Foreskin or a removed Testicle, something like that. Though seeing as it was in a tin that traveled readily, i'd say maybe not, probably something BeeJ put together at DB, my thoughts is a condom or something else you could pick up at the store and make look disgusting on short notice.

Hi all,

I just want to jump in here and say a few things. I've read through this thread starting from just before Desert Bus go time last Friday, and I'd like to respond to a few of the things that have come up.

Basically, I appreciate that you guys want to give us feedback, and I want you to know that we are seeing what you're saying, and we'll be talking about all of it in the weeks and months to come. There is a lot of planning and time and thought that goes into this event, but obviously we can't anticipate or plan for everything.

There were definitely some things that we feel worked much better this year, and things that made all of us on the crew feel much more sane throughout the event. However, there were also things that will need altering and improvement for next year, and we all plan to do our best to make those improvements. It's great for us to hear from you what you liked and what you didn't like - we know how the event was for us, but it's important for us to hear what the experience was like from the other end. Some things we can change, and some we can't, but know that whether or not your suggestions are carried out, they are being read and considered. We fully recognize that the key to Desert Bus' success has always been its interaction with all of you guys, and viewers' ability to feel like they are part of the event. We most definitely do not want to lose that.

Thank you to all of you for sticking with us through the good and through the not so good, and thank you for your thoughtful and heartfelt feedback. We will do our best to make Desert Bus better each year. We deeply appreciate your continued support, even as Desert Bus gets bigger and becomes less and less hipster. :) You guys watching and taking part is what makes all of this possible.
