Poetry on Demand.

Postby Ahlir » 09 Nov 2011, 19:48

Ok. To distract me from my looming exams of Death I'm gonna do something I did on Facebook a while ago. Pretty much its you guys give me a topic and I'll do a short (normally 4 or 5 lines) verse off the top of my head. I might also (if this thread gains interest) put up some other poems I've wrote or just poems I enjoy.

So bring on the ideas.

Plums.
Stone fruit,
They're real beaut.
Sweet or tart,
They melt my heart.

Yeah ok I don't like that one much. Guess that's cause I don't eat plums often.

Bacon Strips.
Full of fat,
well fancy that.
The taste will rot your brain.

It's even a candy,
Now isn't it dandy
That everything tastes the same.

Also I think the forum might be hungry.

Onomatopoeia
Boom, slash, whizz, bonk.
Hiss, screech, bubble, honk.
Tweet, pop, mumble, zip.
Fizz, whoosh, gurgle, drip.

Hehehehe That was an easy on. Fun too.

Fezzul's Future Beard
A mystery for all to see,
A wonder of, what will it be?
Will it be long? Will it be short?
Can it be sold? Can it be brought?
I wrote this poem. I'm on the ball.
So fuck you Fezzul... That is all. :P

Woot I win.

He did yes... My bad I missed that.

Furry Love(oh god)
Anthropomorphic little mouse.
So small and lonely.
Knocks on door of neighbouring house.
My, what a handsome pony.

Oh pretty mousy, may I ask.
An offer for you only.
Would you like a little task
And get to ride a brony?

And that is as far as I'm taking that. Gotta keep things PG. If anyone wants me to take it further I'm gonna need some incentive.

Desert Bus
We'll play this game by Penn and Teller,
Just to prove that we're not yeller.
With auctions here and crafting there.
And someone dressed up as a bear.

We'll bus through day. We'll bus through night.
All for a cause that is just right.
We'll bus through night. We'll bus through day.
And all the money goes to Child's Play.

Half a million dollars raised.
We haven't slept for days and days.
So come alone and join with us,
As we all play some Desert Bus.

---------------------------------------
Anyone else notice it went a little Green Lantern in the middle there.
“In brightest day, in blackest night,
The road shall escape our sight.
Let those who worship LRR's might,
Beware our power… Desert Bus light!“
I would totally watch that movie.

Can't write about something I don't know.

Oh all right.

My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.
It's all over the interwebs,
It's even made it to these threads.
A kids show, that makes grown men cry.
With Rainbow Dash, Applejack and Fluttershy
Why it is famous, I don't know how,
I really wanna stab myself in the head right now.

That's as nice as I can do. So sue me. And on that topic.

Debt
No money in the bank,
The shares have all sank.
The bills are piling higher
We can not find a buyer.

To pay it back is hard.
Put it on a Credit Card.
I hope we learnt our lesson,
Cause now we're in rescission.

Much better.

LRR Forum
A simple mind can't understand,
Just what goes on inside my head.
No matter what the topic is,
You always find it in a thread.

From "General Chat" to "For the Lols"
There is always a place to have your say.
There's the "Wish Corrupting Game," "Doctor Who,"
and "This thread is so gay"

Sure we don't stay on topic,
And the conversations are muddly.
But it all lots of fun.
Just don't read "Graham looks cuddleh"

Stargate Haikus
Stargate SG1.
One of the best on TV.
The spin-offs suck balls.

Colonel Jack O'Neill
Major Samantha Carter
Match made in heaven.

Yay no rhyming!!
