Scrabble?

Postby aimes » 25 Jun 2006, 14:46

so...
I have been told by a friend of mine that this is super stalkerish, but i dont care, im interested in making new friends and playing scarbble.
so an invitation to the lrr group to play scrabble with me on canada day (or night) (or the day after) to have a scrabble night. I wil provide the snacks (well some, but I am a poor student) and you dictate the place. i thnk it will be fun... (!)

I'm saying that you're not a stalker type fan. LRR is simply a rag-tag bunch of mere mortals, susceptible as any to a well played match of scrabble. Furthermore, I applaud your candor.

i know the greatest scrabble player to have ever lived. his name is eric hogg and no one would play against him so he went and played online. before long people on the internets wouldn't play against him. he then became very sad. the moral: don't ever get very good at anything because people will hate you.

[edit] i voted for stalkerish, just for the hell of it.

TRUE STORY! Eric once beat me at scrabble with the word " ep!" Without the exclaimation mark of course. He is so competitive. He memorized the scrabble dictionary....Oh Eric.....he's a musician, that should explain it all. He's one of my favourite people. Check out his stuff at www.acidplanet.com/solipsis

Oh good lord no, I won't come - but I applaud you none the less. I'm too much of a recluse to bother, but I do sincerely like the idea of it.

i'm actually not super keen on scrabble. i pretty much suck at it. hanging out sans scrabble is entirely acceptable, however.

I have a terrible confession to make, I really stopped caring a while ago about posting on forums, and started caring more about leveling my level 41 Mastermind to 50 now that Issue 7 is out.

I'm refering to City of Villains if anyone is wondering, possibly one of the most awesome MMO's ever.

we should meet at the bay center electronics boutique! woot. aimes, this is where matt works and where you will be making fun of him. beware: if he's working while you're there and you don't make fun of him then i'm afraid i will have to send you back from whence you came.

ps i don't actually care where we meet...

Hi Aimes, I'm Lissette....

I was thinking that we should try to do brunch downtown. I have to work at 1 pm, but Brunch is awesome in Victoria. Will you be down for something along the lines?

Also, I am not allowed to play boardgames anymore
:( Long story.
