Does anyone here work in law enforcement? (writing question)

Postby King Kool » 12 Dec 2011, 22:37

I have a question for something I'm writing, and since I've never been arrested or anything, my knowledge on this subject is pretty slim.

I'll mention exactly what I need to know if I get any nibbles. If it seems I'm out of luck, we'll surely fill this topic with pictures of beautiful architecture in Norway or some f'ing thing.

My dad was in the FBI. I could probably ask him some things for you.

My brother worked with some detectives and is finishing his last year of college and my father was a cop for a bit.

I have family in the force, so I could probably answer a few questions for you, or at least get the answers quickly.

I'm really in more of a neighborhood watch sort of setup. Don't exactly have the resources to do anything else anyway.

I was once an honorary member of the NWMP for three days in 1893. Then the lieutenant figured out that I didn't actually speak more than four words of Sioux and left me stranded in the wilds about sixty miles out from Wood Mountain.

Not law enforcement per-say, but if you have any non-treason questions about the intelligence community, I know some people
