At least, that's my understanding of the situation.

I imagine strippers are also pretty resistant to that change, albeit for entirely different reasons.

I think those are the 'retailers' Gunner was talking about. ;)

They'd need to "rearrange" the compartments in their "change drawers", if you get my drift.

They have more bruises in their underpants region.

I don't see why strippers would have a problem with it. In countries without one dollar bill (or other currency equivalent) they smaller they get are five dollar bills and that's more money.

Hmmm.... but are they giving their 5 dollars as frequently as they would give 1 dollar?

The smaller the denomination, the freer a person feels with it, so they might actually spend more because it's "just a dollar"

That is exactly the issue. People throw out singles like nothing but with 5s they think about it. Again depending on the local economic situations. like 10 years ago a Canadian 5 was about 2 bucks American. now they are roughly the same.

I dunno, I assume they'd spend it less than 1s but more often than a fifth of what they spend ones. I mean they went to a place with strippers in the first place, it's not a "oh, I guess I have a dollar, I'll give it to them" situation. They had to be expecting to spend some money there.

Plus putting bills under their clothing is a way to touch them, I'm sure you're aware of that. I doubt people would stop wanting to do it.

But if you put dollar coins, you get to touch them and they jingle when they dance, it's more festive!

Huh... I would have assumed there would have been some stripper-bill inflation where they'd have to go to the next available bill and devalue the whole thing. A Weimar of titty-bars.

/Or if they did use coins, you'd have put some sort of adhesive so they'd stick. I assume they've have coin glue stations littered about the place, next to lysol.
