Aww darn. :( Was terribly excited about finally meeting you! Some day it will happen. I'll send along a button for you with the crew. And perhaps something more...

:( And I really want to meet you and the other East Coasters! School for Jeremy and lack of vacation time for me, factored with distance and cost make it not feasible to come this year even for just the 3 days of PAX. But also, Jeremy and I really want to do PAX East on a year that we can take some more time before or after to see a bit of Boston and New England - maybe actually spend some time seeing that part of the world and visiting with folks out there. Someday, it will happen.

For the record, I had nothing to do with workshopping that name. But I will be there.

I know, but that's 40 bucks I could have put towards other stuff.

My wife and I have pretty much got this Pax East thing down to a science by now. Bought our three day passes as soon as they went on sale, put in for a full week of vacation so we have time to decompress afterwards and reserved a room in the Westin so we can walk to the con. We're very much looking forward to playing games in the Westin lobby until 4AM every night then getting up at 8 to get back to the con as soon as it opens.

AlexanderDitto I do loves me some Pokemon but I never play competitively. If you want to trade for some legendary though I will boot up my GBA and Ruby for another play-through so I can grab some rares.

ETA: now we just have to figure out how we're going to get out to Prime this year - we've only ever been able to attend East.

My hubby and I will be in the Westin also - I'd be up for late-night playing games in the lobby too (provided I'm not crazy exhausted) :)

*head bang on desk* I was looking at passes a week ago thinking "huh, I should really get on this, they might sell out soon" and well, fail. So instead I've got a pile of one-day passes for myself and 3 others. First PAX that I will actually make it to, instead of having PAX Prime plans fall through many many times :p

Just applied for an enforcer position. Was really the only way to make it financially feasible. If they accept, I'll go, otherwise I won't :)

Hopefully Kristin remembers me from Desert Bus...

As far as I know they have never rejected enforcers other than ones who they had issues with at previous events.

You mean like when fugi ran up on stage during the Omeganaut finals yelling, "IM IN CHARGE IM IN CHARGE! I KNOW THE MAYOR OF BOSTON!"?

If "I KNOW THE MAYOR OF BOSTON" isn't a PAXEAST-wide meme this year, I'll be SEVERELY disappointed.

No, Matt will just be severely disappointed.

The question is, will he really be disappointed or will he just be acting. He is after all what you would call an ACTOR!

If you make it out I will reward your hard running work with some sort of frothy alcoholic beverage. Preferably light so as not to put any harm to your cut form.

I've recently learned that I'm the only person who has lived in Boston for 5 years without meeting the mayor.

http://www.purebuttons.com/, they've done a lot of the PAX buttoneering orders. They were super fast and pretty inexpensive, and the buttons are very nice. Often they do 10% off codes for PAX or at random times during the year.

What are the first buttons for? Getting your Prime buttoneering buttons in early?
