Mine is sitting on my desk, judging me.

"I think I'd rather goof off instead of working on that paper!"

11 days left! The excitement is terrible... I hope it'll last!

...I wonder if the LRR crew is going to announce meetup times or whether they'll be taking merch orders for in-person pick up... I need at least two more packs of Things My Cat Hates buttons, which are DELICIOUS. :B

As I have friends/condomates doing a panel 1900-2000 on Friday, (Fix Your Tabletop RPG) I'll be there instead of the EC Panel. I'm going to try and get to the PAX game, though.

I don't think you can go wrong with either. The EC panel at Prime was great, so having been to one I can miss that. Although, I think chances of PAX game being recorded and put up on YouTube, even if by an amateur, is greater than someone grabbing the EC panel.

PAX Game seems awesome.

Also, I have a robot due the week after PAX. Have any of you tested out caffeine pills?

I would venture to guess the opposite is true; the chances of someone recording the EC panel are higher than the chances of someone recording PAX Game.

I'm going to try my damnedest to do both, but I'll be at PAX Game first, and if I can't get into EC, so be it.

Oh man! I should have asked on the LRRcast, I could have gotten Graham and Kathleen's opinion 3 weeks after the event!

Hahahaha yesssss.

We really have to make an effort to ask them more questions that will be completely irrelevant by the time they post the podcast.

You know what would be a fun thing if it didn't take a ton of time to shoot? LRR PAX EAST FEED DUMP! Could even do it as part of the Post-panel shenanigans... #wishfulthinking

I'm guessing this is probably infeasible due to the fact that PAX is a crazy whirlwind. But man that would be cool.

Some day I will be on a Feed Dump. Some day... and what a great Dump it will be.

Can someone answer this for me, I apologize if it's been addressed:

They say they're going to have a table in bandland, but then I see a few people talking about requesting merch.

Will there be merch at PAXEast to peruse, or will we have to ask politely before hand?

Thanks in advance.

All the merch they have on hand they have to haul in their luggage. Therefore, in the past, in order to minimize the amount of merch they have to haul back with them, they've asked people what they want so they can specifically bring that, and they'll know they'll sell it. Sometimes they'll have some extras of stuff, especially more popular items and smaller items like buttons, that they can sell in bandland, but last year to make things more efficient we told them exactly what we wanted.

The table in bandland is small and is mostly for autographs and saying hello and showering them in Bump in the Nights. Things like that.

No guarantees, of course, that they'll do this this year, or that they'll even have merch available at all. Wait for final word from one of the crew members before posting your merch hopes and dreams.

EDIT: THIS IS NO LONGER TRUE! HOORAY! See Graham's post a little bit down the page.

Mostly correct, but more like, the table in Bandland is for MAD SALES, YO!

In that, we will be bringing a bunch of merch. We've never had a table at East before, and while we are super happy to have anyone come by and say hi, we will also have stuff to sell.

This year we're even shipping DVDs to Boston ahead of us!

THIS IS BIG NEWS!!!

Wait, hang on. You guys totally had a table at East in 2010, East's first year. I remember, you were in Bandland, sandwiched between those hooligans Paul and Storm and... I can't actually remember who was on the other side. But I'm sure of it! I'm fairly certain you even still have the banner that was hanging behind your table hanging up somewhere in the moonbase....

Regardless: GOOD NEWS EVERYONE! There will be merch! Hooray!

My original plan was to make a clock out of BitNs, wear it around my neck, and make it rain BitN Flava Flav style.

I've since refined this approach for PAX East. Prime is ... still up in the air.

That's true Alexander, I totally forgot. We had a kind of weird tiny table of oddness. It's much more official this time, and we've planned better for it.

Ok, so my plans for PAX East have changed a bit.

Since they had nobody to record Robert Khoo's panel, I've been pulled in to record that one, too. I'm gonna come in later on Friday and crash with the guys who do this, since all of them are gonna be busy recording the concert.

So, I was thinking, I wonder what else I can record. But the thing is, EVERYTHING else of interest is on Friday. All of MovieBob's stuff, the Extra Credits panel.

So, yeah. Looks like I still won't have a whole shitload to do between the meetup and the panel.
