Re: LRR 2012 Convention Appearances
Some questions:
Are there plans to do fan meet-ups, and if so, where should we check for dates/times once schedules start being finalized? I am selfishly thinking of PAX East, but I suppose this would apply to all the cons.
Also, for those who are interested, are there plans to take merch orders on the forums for pickup at the con, similar to what Graham did last year?
A comment: congratulations, guys. I have placed my first order for magic cards ever. I have just purchased a ridiculous number of Bump in the Nights. You should be ashamed.

Re: LRR 2012 Convention Appearances
There will indeed be meet-ups at the out of town cons, and we'll be sure to announce them when we have a better idea of our own schedules during the weekends in question. We'll make sure to post it pretty much everywhere. Forums, Facebook, Blog, Twitter. You'll be hard pressed to miss it!
If we do indeed go ahead and take merch orders prior to the cons, we'll let you know.

Likewise. Pax East is Operation: MakeItRainBitN.
I'm at over 100 right now, but I got Chinese Foils, Japanese Foils, English Foils, and a whole bunch of normals.

I don't know a single, sadly. I've been buying enough to get bulk discounts...
Maybe a dime?

Ah, good. I don't play MTG but I'd pick one up for this. You know, because I am a srs fan.

Re: LRR 2012 Convention Appearances
It took a certain amount of restraint not to spend all my remaining Card Kingdom credit on foil BitNs.

Oh, I'm sorry the free shit I'm giving you that you asked for isn't up to snuff. MY BAD.

I meant, we were intentionally asking for one of the least valuable cards so that it wouldn't be an issue of cost, and so that it doesn't benefit us in any way. It's just a goofy little thing we want to do.

For the con of your interest Alexander, we will have a table at PAX East. So...AlexanderDitto wrote:Also, for those who are interested, are there plans to take merch orders on the forums for pickup at the con, similar to what Graham did last year?

It has almost certainly been said before, but persistance (spam) gets stuff done. Come to Australia! It is only a short swim.
Magic Decks -
Standard Deck: just some random fail cards.
Modern Deck: 5 colors, because less than 5 is for wimps.

I wonder if this run will be enough to drive the price up... or is there just too much supply?

It sure might be enough to drive up the price of foil BITNs.

For those who do not have a couple grand lying around for plane tickets.
Australia and Canada need to be closer together in financial space.

Dear Princess Celestia,
today I learned that sometimes, it's fun to take another pony's challenge to you to a whole 'nother level. Some ponies might think you're being silly or taking a joke too far, but Princess Celestia, sometimes you just have to make it rain Bumps In The Night.
Or so Princess Luna tells me.
Your faithful student, Psycho Pez.
(It's funny how many BitN you can get if you give up Starbucks for a week...)

For the record, when getting ready to start wave 2 of ordering, the places I'd cleaned out in wave 1 of BitN at $.05-$.10 per card have restocked back up to maybe a dozen, but they've upped the price to $.25 per. And the one even had a single foil selling for a dollar, when I had bought 8 for $.25 each...so slowly but surely.
10 minutes googling will show places still selling them at pennies though, so I, at the very least, am not ruining it for everyone else.

All I can say is that I am bringing some awesome cards with me, including the Bump In The Nights. Maybe a little extra...

Re: LRR 2012 Convention Appearances
Anyone who would like a BITN at pax east send me a message.
There are no commercially available out of the package Bumps in the day or night in the state of Alaska. There are several on my desk though. This is quickly becoming a rare.
Unless they are in Juno, which doesnt count thats like northern Washington not Alaska.
