Man. This could be our last Allentine's ever, so let's make it the BEST Allentine's, EVER!

This year's goal is actually a couple things. You can do one of two, or you can do both. Participation is mandatory. Failure to complete your mission is punishable by disappointment.

Goal the first?

HAND HEARTS. (Or alternative hearts).
This one's SUPER easy. Just form a heart with your hands(pictured below) or take a picture of a drawn heart. It must be a picture YOU take, not something you snag off the net. I'll know the difference.

Maybe if you make

Then you'll succeed at the second challenge.
Did you catch that? It's a haiku. It SHOULD be about me(it's my day, dammit!), but it can be about your chosen Allentine.

My Allentine, this year, by the way, is tak197, who just went through a surgery recently. He's busily recovering and being amazing, so here's my Allentine's Haiku for him:

NOW. The poll showed that a lot of people were like "What's Allentine's Day?"

MY GOD. How could you people not know this?

Okay, first off:

It's not my birthday. A lot of people get confused by that, making the assumption that I boycott Valentine's because it happens to fall on my birthday. Well, that's not the case, here. And, in fact, that's a pretty cheesy reason to not do something. "I don't DO Christmas. My birthday is the same day!" Nobody cares.

I just do Allentine's Day simply because I don't like the idea of V-Day. It offends me on a certain level that I won't get into right now, and I know that's the case with a lot of people. So I said "I don't do Valentine's Day. I do ALLENTINE'S DAY." and people thought I was joking.

But then I made myself breakfast in bed, got myself flowers, took myself to a movie, and it was the
BEST
DAY
EVER.

And then I got other people to start doing it, and it's just... awesome. So as an internet thing, I try to get the gang on the LRR forums into it a bit every year with a goofy little thing(you can check out the old Allentine's Days here and here.

Last couple years I have sort of, um, dropped the ball on this one. My bad.

But, as always, with every Allentine's Day, it's not just about loving that one special person(me). It's about loving everybody who's worth loving, everybody who gives you that special feeling when you think about them.

And that means you guys.

I love you, LRR Crew and Fan Community. You're the best, every day, every year.

If anyone is wondering why they weren't included when someone else was, I clicked on the first thread in general, clicked back 3 pages, and saved the images up to the current page. Then went to the second, third and fourth threads, and did the same.

Also you might be in there and not recognize your own avatar when its not flipping. I didn't recognize a few when I was making it because it is just the first image and some people have dozens of pics in the animated gifs.

sorry if you got missed it was the only way I could think to show love to the forums. You are all my allentines.
